Was a little more aggressive with the jalapeños,left in most seeds, and added a serrano pepper with the poblanos too. Added a splash of beer, can of drained beans and had some Colombian sausage. Pureed it up and was a little too spicy. Added a small handful of sugar to contrast the heat.
    Tastes good.
Just had a spoonful so far.

Would be good to smother a burrito or roast with pork chops.
Whatever. Just fun to mess around.

Hooked on tomatillos. Simple, different & delicious. The sugar helped a lot. Had a couple chips with some.
    Larry d wouldn't like it ;)

Band practice tonight, which means Taco Tuesday at the bar next to our space. 6 beef, a shot of Espolon Blanco, and a Tecate

Have you grilled fish without oil?

That is awesome! Did you first cover all the veggies in oil, or just put them on the grill?

Just dry grilled them. I wanted to blister up those peppers especially. Then put in a pot with other stuff. A little liquid from the can of beans. Tomatillios give off a lot of liquid too. Blended them up.
Ended up mixing it with rice and some shrimp.

Salmon in a lemon cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes, garlic, and spinach. Served over rice with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Came out really good!
