Sounds great, B. Make sure to post some photos.F Me In The Brain said:So what are folks cooking up for tomorrow.
Making an attempt to go somewhat healthy but still have lots of good eats.
 Working on preparations for:
OkraGolden BeetsGuacamole & ChipsCauliflower Buffalo WingsMac & Cheese
Meatballs (this and M&C for the kiddo)
 Oven "fried" ChickenBroiled Skrimps
Just three of us and we have all the fish coming on Tuesday so the challenge will be to eat it all before then, likely to make early on Sunday.0

I will share - because I start early - the motherfucking Instacart shopper doesn't know the difference between beets and goldem beets.GlowGirl said:

Oven "fried" chicken, first. Don't want a load of leftovers beyond Monday so started in time to eat this as lunch.

That looks great. I make a mean oven fried chicken tenders. I mix a lot of spice in the egg wash and in the coating. For the coating I use whole wheat panko. It retains its crunch really well.F Me In The Brain said:Oven "fried" chicken, first. Don't want a load of leftovers beyond Monday so started in time to eat this as lunch.

Thanks. The Mike's put on there made it friggin money.
 Dirty Dick's as well
Can't spice the mixture up because of my wife's dietary restrictions so the hot stuff has to go on, after.
 Used gluten free corn flakes.

Love the Gringo Bandito. I'm putting that on wings tonight. I've got Hoff's in the chicken dip. If you haven't tried any of the Hoff's sauces, I suggest you do.0

Gotcha. You can always make it like a Nashville hot - and pour on the sauce after. For my mixture I have either a curry theme, where I mix in the curry powder, cumin, and coriander into the mix, or I do a spicy theme with chili powder, paprika, cayenne, and some hot sauce in the egg wash. One of my favorite kitchen gadgets is an oil sprayer. When I make stuff like this, I always spritz on a bit of oil before it goes in the oven.F Me In The Brain said:Thanks. Looks great Brett!!!! What exactly is hot honey? I see some people put it on their pizza.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

Just like it sounds....some heat to it, not too much, and it goes really well with honey.
Try it on lots of stuff....my favorite so far is probably fried foods.
I tried on pizza and it was ok but I prefer some hot sauce on my pizza if I want to go beyond red pepper flakes. The love he receives is the love that is saved0

That looks great. A few of these posts are making me want chicken wings for dinner instead of pulling leftover chili out of the freezer. There is a great wings place about 6 blocks away. I may have to put on the snow boots and take a walk up there.lmckenney24 said:Buffalo Chicken dip to get things going.... 0 0

A little walk through the snow is definitely worth it for some wings!GlowGirl said:
