My mother makes this really good fast and easy chicken dish. The glaze is a mixture of apricot jam, Russian dressing, and a packet of Lipton Onion Soup mix. I know it sounds gross and it is likely not the healthiest, but it is really good, and the jam gets all caramelized on the chicken. I have made it once or twice myself and it never disappoints.

I burnt dinner last night. I was grilling bratwurst and got distracted by something in the house. I forgot that they were on the grill, and by the time I remembered, they were chunks of coal. Had to pivot to a different meal.

I didn’t even give it to her. She is gassy as it is so adding brats to her digestive system is not something I even want to chance.
