The local farm had their first cut of corn and batch of tomatoes.   Mmm, Jersey has some of the best of both.  They also had giant shiitake mushrooms out.
Just sliced them up and sautéed- them put over another helping of that salad.

Tough to top well prepared shrooms.

My wife joined a from farm to table program we get a delivery every Weds from out east of me really great vegetables & fruits can’t be beat
We just picked more blueberries than we can possibly eat, today.  Gonna have to freeze some - agree with you 100!
Kate’s been making red raspberry jam for two weeks now! We’re also going to soak a big jar of them with vodka to infuse them for mixing drinks! And offcourse I’m making some THC tinctures
I’ve got a great spot for wineberries along one of my hidden bike paths in the area. Same network of trails down along the river bank also hides my secret pawpaw spot.

OK. What are pawpaws and what do you do with them? I think I chewed on one of them and they are bitter.

Paw paw sounds like a slang for grandpa.  Hope the secret grandpa spot was a safe one.

I sometimes do. I did this time to prevent any flare ups. Probably don’t need to next time.

Have salmon on there now. That’s actual dinner. Ribs were cheap at the butcher so pulling off bone for sandwiches at the pool tomorrow.

    Mmmmm butter steak.

Yeah the dude Jesse was at the omakase helm when we rolled in.

Dude I was with works for the Royal Izakaya/Triangle/what-have-you group of restaurants so we basically had a $200 stipend to start on our tab before anybody else pitched. We ate (and drank) sooo much.

I'm glad things worked out for him.  I should not hold negative feelings for stupid reasons.
Awesome that he is feeding people amazing sushi.  I always appreciate that.
