The White House Correspondents Association wrote a sad apology for the things "the entertainer" said. It seems that only comedians will tell the truth. She called them out on their cowardice. And she's right; they love Trump just for the ratings. We really are on a march towards authoritarianism. And the "free press" is a pretty willing participant at this point.

It is now disrespectful to make fun of the president at an event known for making fun of the president and WH staff. It was only a problem this time because of the wackiness of this presidency.
