2 years is a loooooooong time. Particularly in terms of quarterly economic reports and house investigative committees’ subpoenas.

Since the Dems didn’t anticipate winning the senate, I’d venture a guess and say the president?
I’m thinking it’s pretty equal between trump and the Canadians on this board
Subpoena power is a pretty powerful tool that the president seems to overlook...or at least pretends too. Easy choice IMO.

And while Team Mueller does his thang and the House Dems do theirs, these will wend their way through the courts. But I think my favorite is State of NY vs. Team Trump Treason Organization. Careful how you answer those deposition questions boys and girls.

The democrats were anticipating a slaughter and an impeachment for the last two years.  They were anticipating winning everything.  Expectations were metered in the weeks leading up to the vote.

But when it comes to being delusional - the president is the obvious choice; regardless of any current situation.

Agree if we are debating delusion of an individual.  It’s like watching a six year old throw tantrums in his toy room when his play dates pick the worst toys to mess with and he starts acting like it is his favorite toy ever.

Close to 50% of Americans don’t have money invested in the stock market. Maybe they pretend they do?

I keep saying it, but the entire press corps should refuse to cover Trump in support of a fellow journalist. It isn't like any 'real news' comes from any arm of the WH. And the press has been denigrated so much that it is time that they refuse to cover the WH, even in gaggles. Or send interns if they must send anyone.

CNN had 2 pipebombs sent to their work places. It's time to stop covering the damn rallies too. We know what bs is being said. Send a single person into the crowd with a smartphone and refuse to be penned up and abused.

    It's time.

From my current read. Sounds exactly like Donald.

    Francisco Franco's Agenda
From the beginning of his political career as a dictator in 1936, Franco was clear of the direction the country needed to move in. He had observed the changes in Spain and was not trying to win, per say, but rather was trying to cleanse Spain of leftists and liberals. He believed that by ridding the country of these types of thinkers, he could renew Spain's future and could offer change to the country. The narrowness of this philosophy highlights why Franco dichotomized individuals into right and wrong, patriotic and unpatriotic. He was a simple-minded person and not considered a deep thinker. He was threatened by the intellectuals of the country...

Why not say you're banning Acosta because he was being unprofessional (from Trump's perspective) for continuing to badger Trump after Trump said "next question." Nope, they have to suggest he assaulted the intern that tried to take his mic away. So dumb.

I’m unsure who is more delusional. Trump who claimed victory when losing the house or those here claiming a democrat blue wave when they lost seats in the senate and lost Florida, Ohio and Texas despite all that $. And now they think Beto is the next presidential Hope! Oh my.
    Democrats won:
    1. 7 Governorships
    2. It looks like 37 House seats.  Here's a fun fact.. this is the most the D's have won in an election since...wait for it...1972, in the middle of Watergate.  This number is also bigger than 2006 which Bush himself classified as a 'thumping'
    3. 330 state seats.  This..is...HUGE.

Is it a wave?  Who the fuck knows.  Did they win every race important to them?  Of course not.  But it was a far, far better night for Democrats than Republicans.  That cannot even be disputed rationally.

Is it a wave?  Who the fuck knows.  Did they win every race important to them?  Of course not.  But it was a far, far better night for Democrats than Republicans.  That cannot even be disputed rationally.
Dems also now have a majority of state AG positions.

Very important when it comes to protecting voting rights.  Nice.  I didn't realize that.
These are the underlying stats that are about playing the long game, particularly with census and redrawing of the maps on the board over the next few years.  The Democrats neglected these races in the Obama era, but they are coming back in force now.

I wish both sides would drop the cookie cutter approach. Some kind of grid with blocks based on voting age population or something. Those sliced and diced districts are ridiculous.

The gains on undercards in individual states is huge and cannot be overstated.

They will make it very hard for the telecoms to come in and rape the consumers, and worst-case, will tie it up in court until the end of Trump's term.  NYS is also talking about legalization/taxation of marijuana and also a state universal health care plan that Republican state senate has barely been able to stave off over the years.  Also codify abortion rights and protect our environment.

Since the Dems didn’t anticipate winning the senate, I’d venture a guess and say the president?
I’m thinking it’s pretty equal between trump and the Canadians on this board

yeah, it seems the canadians aren't allowed to have an opinion on affairs that can have an effect on us, our neighbours, our family, our friends.

it's funny how my2hands keeps whining about being attacked for having a dissenting opinion, but just because some of us are not american, our opinions are invalid or unwelcome.

I'm sure some here would be more than happy to hear from us if we agreed with them all the time.

then maybe all americans should STFU about everything outside their borders? or does that not apply to the US?
