Typical. Your opinion is what's right and everyone else is wrong. :eye roll

    No.

My opinion is my opinion and I'm going to voice it if so inclined.

You're the one that uses terms 'right' and 'wrong'. Look at what you wrote in the post I originally quoted: "Those who don't support Colin Kaepernick's protest have a fundamental misunderstanding of the concept of democracy in general and America in particular."

Hmmm. Doesn't leave much room for an opinion outside of your's huh? "Typical" (said with the same snotty nosed tone you used for me).

For the record... I use the terms 'different' and 'disagree'.
That was with the article, that's why it's quoted.

reported cops will boycott ninets games because Kaps protests.

umm, way to kinda reinforcevwhat he is saying while overlooking his statement that most cops do their jobs with respect for all.

whats that saying? when you lay down with dogs.....

these cops are butthurt. you have 2 men on the 49ers staging a protest. you have tens of thousands of people to protect. do your fucking jobs, or get off of the tax payer money.. this police union has skin as thick as trump's.

You quoted directly from the piece? You never paraphrased (placing the ideas into your own words... and then crediting the source)?

This is what I had presumed. I'm prepared to offer an apology for my confusion if I was wrong.

it is funny how many people are pissed off about a mediocre football player sitting down during the national anthem. who gives a shit what he has to say?

and what the heck is wrong with patriotism? the outsiders make it seem like a bad thing that American's are Patriotic. i don't understand that sentiment at all. yea we are the only ones who play the National Anthem before sporting events, but you know what, maybe we are right the rest of the world is wrong. I think it's great that we play it before every game.
You think you are better than the whole rest of the world and you don't understand what's wrong with that? Lol

I didn't mean you literally, but i didn't have time to couch my terms.

American exceptionalism is a real side effect/intended result of American patriotism, and patriotism in general is a superiority issue.
If you don't think America is better than everyone else, what is there to be so proud of?

You can be proud and not arrogant. The two are not hand in hand items.
