Well 'Gardenia' sounded pretty damn cool, looking forward to hearing the rest of the record now.
I didn't realise it's an Iggy album, produced by and featuring Josh, until Colbert showed the sleeve“Do not postpone happiness”
(Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)
“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
(Tim Rogers)0 -
Matt Helders from Arctic Monkeys on drums too.0

I really dug it too. Somehow it reminded me a lot of Bowie. And they all looked so sharp!goldrush said:Well 'Gardenia' sounded pretty damn cool, looking forward to hearing the rest of the record now.

Well that was terrible, painful to watch really.0

I did get the "Bowie vibe" from the song. Song was ok, I'm not really an Iggy fan though. I probably would go to the show but mainly cause Josh and Matt are in the group.
Thanks Croos for pointing out that Matt was on drums, didn't realize thatWhere in the suburbs of philly are you from?

Hey Dave. I live in Huntingdon Valley now, but spent quite a lot of time in West Chester in the mid nineties with friends that went to WCU. A lot of drunken nights at 512 Walnut street, the Rat and Jakes!eeriepadave said:I did get the "Bowie vibe" from the song. Song was ok, I'm not really an Iggy fan though. I kind of like the song, but it does sound so much like a Bowie song that it was distracting. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0
