Really want to go to this when they come to LA, especially since it's the day after my birthday, but was planning on traveling that day for the MSG shows. Looks like an early morning Friday flight for me!

Ouch. NYC was already sort of a birthday present to myself, so looks like I won't adding to it with this show before I leave.

The Detroit prices show between 60 and 115 bucks. I'm gonna try at least. Not gonna go for the expensive ones though. Sigh.

Really? I have only ever seen pics from the Fox. But oh my... It looks amazing! I hope I get lucky with tickets. Are you thinking about it stoo, shortstack?

The Fox is beautiful, but it's a theatre with seats. There's GA at the Filmore.

Yep, I'm gonna try too. :)

In this interview Josh says they purposely hand picked beautiful theatres and places "they shouldn't be," as they wanted to infiltrate them.

Giant QOTSA fan since Rated R, and I know this is more of a Iggy Pop album...but I just dont dig it.

I just got into QOTSA this past year and don't know anything about Iggy Pop. But the Fox really is beautiful! I saw Eddie Vedder play a show there.

I was really intrigued when I initially read about the ideas behind the collaboration and I'm slowly coming around to the new songs. Guess I was expecting more of a "Search and Destroy" style. I've listened to "Passenger" about a half a dozen times tonight, imagining Josh, Troy, and Dean playing it and trying to convince myself that tickets aren't too expensive to tack on.

Well, I hope more people think like you - then it will be easier to get tickets  I love QOTSA, I love Iggy. I have never seen Iggy live before, and I dig the songs that have been released so far. I think this is gonna be an amazing bucket list event with fantastic music in a gorgeous theater for me :rock_on:

It is very Bowiesque, but I have to say I really liked it. They are even coming here, in May. I'm actually thinking of going.

    I got tickets!!!!!

Unfortunately the seats I want are only CITI credit card seats :disappointed: I actually have one but it's expired and you HAVE to use the card to purchase. which is upsetting. but whatever. I'll be in my floor seats.

Pulled a great Section A, Row A ticket for the LA show but just couldn't pull the trigger after the PJ lottery. $125 + fees was too much at the present moment.

Yea I had great aisle seats in the balcony but fucking Ticketmaster kicked me out cuz I was looking at modest mouse tickets in another tab.
Here's a thought, don't put tickets on sale at the same time if you dont want people looking at two different shows at once!
    stupid ticketmaster.

I completely disagree. Iggy was a huge innovator. $125 for the premium seats is completely reasonable (if not a bargain). I choose to get more moderately priced seats, but not because I don't think the $125 seats are "worth it."
