    http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/where-donald-trumps-support-coming-n404131

and here's your NON FOX spin for the day.....Donald Trump's support from Republican voters tends to come from men, seniors and those having a high school education or less, according to results from an online NBC News/SurveyMonkey survey of more than 3,000 GOP primary voters.

and then there's the raceist vote....He's also leading with white voters. Twenty-three percent of white Republican voters say they choose Trump as their top pick for 2016, versus 10 percent who support Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and nine percent who back Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

see I told you so !.........The only major demographic group where Trump lags behind is with Hispanic Republicans. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio leads with 19 percent of that group; Bush comes in second, with 14 percent; and Trump is third, with 13 percent.

so he's leading the way because of white republican voters who are old and under educated, HAHHAHHAH I love the media !

    Godfather.

The Official GOP Debate Drinking Game Rules according to Rolling Stone. Better read and understand the rules before the event gets underway. What will everyone be drinking? I have a fresh bottle of Knob Creek Bourbon I'll be cracking open.

I can understand why the candidates who are in the early non-prime time debate are pissed. Fox News is deciding who the voters pay attention to and who debate whom. That definitely seems wrong to me. They should have both groups debate during prime time, or both outside of prime time, perhaps separated by a day, day/opponents selected by random draw. That would be fair and lend itself to democracy... not that I expect Fox News to give a shit about that.

I shall be doing the bowl-hitting version for this. Should be blazin' fun :sunglasses:

(wonder how many similar parameters will apply during the Dem debate? Still gonna play the game though!)

Hmm, maybe I'll rethink my game, and join you two with some green instead. That sounds a little safer for a weeknight. LOL.

I don't know that Tiabbi/Rolling Stone will do a similar game for the dems (probably not given Tiabbi's bias, although to be fair, he will go after any politicians if they're idiots), but I'm sure we can come up with something!

According to the rules it sounds like an IV drip will be the only way to consume enough liquor to keep up.

Knob Creek is 90 proof, that sounds like a medical issue if you followed the rules to the end of the debate lol

    Seriously?
There won't be 10 people crowding the stage.
    Donald Trump won't be there.
Science won't be denied as heresy.

That's enough to take the entertainment factor down quite a bit.

Yeah, not shit. The republican debate is basically a freak show. The democratic debate will just be boring politicians.

there will be no USA USA USA chants, there will be no calls to bomb the middle east back to the stone age, there will be no calls to kill the iran nuke deal, there will be no benghazi scandalmongering, so yeah, much less entertainment for sure.

If we could just get rid of the party system, we could have something like a bracket style set of debates. There are 16 candidates. Rank them based on whatever polls you want. Four candidates debate one night. Then 4 more 2 nights later and so on. Once the field gets riddled down after Iowa, then you can probably fit the rest of the candidates on one stage and not have to worry about anyone being left out.

10 people is too many. Nothing is going to be revealed tonight. It's great for people like trump who doesn't know how to debate. Even though every one will listen to every word, he doesn't really have to say anything with only 60 seconds to answer. And honestly, it's not fair to jackals like Lindsay graham and whoever the hell else doesn't get to debate with the top 10.
  • i think everyone should have a chance to debate on the main stage. if i were in the race and i had raised less money and was polling at like 2% and i did not get to debate the likes of trump, i would be fucking irate. fox news is already playing the early kingmaker, and i have a fundamental disagreement that a media outlet should be dictating which candidates get their voices heard.

  • It wasn't even a debate. It was pre prepared statements and answers they all gave. Staying on topic was a major problem as well...

Guys and gals, I would definitely substitute the green for the liquor. That much alcohol will probably put you in the hospital. So yeah, take the illegal substance lol.

I, unfortunately (for the politics), live in utah. just heard today "we" are suing the feds to gain control of our federal lands. this, after "we" wasted $10M fighting gay marriage.

Bowl is packed and ready to go! ...though I may also go with a shot or two for the truly "whoa!" moments.

I'm just not sure I'll be able to withstand two hours of it (the debate, that is).
