    Just saw this on their FAQ. Not so worried about meeting up, but just seems like there is limited movement once you are inside.

    If I arrive at the Festival a few hours after my friends and want to meet up with them, will this be difficult?

    Yes. We strongly suggest arriving at the Festival with the person/people whom you would like to sit with. This is a 60,000-person general admission event. Attendees will be sectioned off in pens on the Great Lawn according to their time of arrival and will not be able to move between pens. If you would like to attend the show with friends, please meet them outside the park and enter together.

    It's killing me that PJ will be a short subway ride away and I'm not going to see them. I'm getting claustrophobia just looking at the photo of the crowd, LOL!
    Maybe Ed will do a solo show while he's here?

    Yes yes yes. If you want to be with friends go in with them. There is no access to the West side and East side once you go in. There is a big isle up the middle and most the of staff and security will not let you pass over to the other side. You go into a fenced "pen" that as a set of vendors and bathrooms. This is where you will live for the day. Once you go out you most likely will not get back into the same pen. If you look at an aerial view you can see the fences. They look like huge areas and they are but people arrive in droves and it fills up very fast. Our friend came in at 5 one year and was all the way in the last back pen and we didn't see him until Neil was almost over (so many people had left by then he was able to move up). Your movement is VERY limited.

    So if gates open at 12, what time do you need to line up to get up front? I've never been to Central Park- is there like a gate that you wait behind?

    If it's anything like previous concerts in Central Park that I've been to, the ticket checkpoints are so far from the great lawn that doing that might be tough.

    That was frustrating. Clicking on the tickets as the clock hit zero and still couldn't get VIP2 or 3.
