Nope, but purses/drawstrings are. They're strict on security, worth browsing the FAQ's for what items are prohibited or not when they come out

they took ALL our cinch sacks last year....ended up carrying all of our stuff. the only good thing about it was they were sooooo interested in taking our bags we got about 20 nips in. Really, people were walking in with bags the size of a suitcase and they took the cinch sacks....ugh, I was mad.

Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

Did you check the spam folder? That's where I found where I won. But you had 72 hours to clam it. So if you did win it'll probably be too late

Haven't read the whole thread, will do so but just wanted to post that I'll be in VIP3 - have one ticket so I'll be coming in from Jersey on the ferry solo. I've traveled to and from and been alone in the City plenty of times, but would be nice to hang out with others for the 10 hours of the festival. This will be my first Pearl Jam live experience and would be nice to share it with other PJ fans.
Good luck to all waiting for emails or looking for tix. Hope to see some people there.

So I just read the FAQ about the festival, but it doesn't say anything about cameras, but to refer to ticket. Did anyone have problems with point and shoot cameras last shows?? Just trying to plan what to bring. Guess I'll have to wait til the 23rd to see what's on the ticket rules.

I wouldn't be too worried. Half of those are presenters, who will just say a word on specific causes in between bands and/or introduce bands. And the special musical guests normally only do one or two songs.

Connie Britton, Sunidhi Chauhan, Common, Laverne Cox, Katie Holmes, Tori Kelly and Usher added as guest performers/presenters.

man, that sucks. means less time for PJ
I wouldn't be too worried. Half of those are presenters, who will just say a word on specific causes in between bands and/or introduce bands. And the special musical guests normally only do one or two songs.
cool. hope you are right.... I could care less about Usher and Common.
Just basing it on what I've experienced in previous years, hopefully they don't change it too much. The last year I went (skipped last year, went 2 years ago), they announced Elvis Costello around this point, and he ended up doing two songs. They always have a bunch of celebrities who speak in between acts/introduce the acts. There's also always a surprise guest who will do one song. The inaugural year it was John Legend, two years ago Janelle Monae, and I heard last year it was Sting. So expect that, too!
