Not that many cause during me trying for VIP, I kept getting the official message that VIP2 was sold out with ten club code and then the regular VIP and was trying anything and everything for VIP3. It took me 45 minutes and I got VIP3 through the ten club, which I was super happy about.

Good cause, not my type of line up , attended smaller charity gigs in my time, mainly for local cancer charities , which my mum sadly passed away from. So I agree with the end of poverty , obviously , and already support less known charities, so all power to the artists. But to sit through Beyoncé and ed sheeran is something I couldn't do, rather do a sponsored walk and donate that way, peace:)

You do realize this thing is in the middle of a fn PARK in the middle of the biggest city in the world. Right? It's a park. Sit, relax. Enjoy the atmosphere. It's a park. In the middle of Manhattan. Not a fan of either of those bands either. But then I get to see Pearl Jam in a park with 59,999 of my friends.

Yeah we won't be playing frolf that day or seeing a 15 hour set list. Or a rarities special. I won't be able to drink Ed's wine ( wonder if I will even be able to actually see him). But who cares?! Look up! We are in the biggest city in the world in a Fn PARK waiting for Pearl Jam to come on.

    Ok. I think I'm ready.

If the past lineups are any indication of how the order will be, PJ will play last given they are listed first on the lineup promo. All previous years where the first artist named (Jay-Z last year, Stevie Wonder in 2013, and Neil Young before that) played last.

OK, so I have to ask. Are the people here specifying which VIP section they are searching for seriously not going to take VIP 3 if by some miracle someone actually offers it to them?

I'll make it easy for anyone here with an extra or 2. I'll take whatever you have, on the spot, no questions asked....assuming you are legit of course. :)

Some people I'm sure are trying to score the same VIP section as their friends so that they can meet up.

So why not ask for either then trade their 2 with someone else if their "friends" get 3?

Because the show is months away and its easier to just try for the tickets you need first?

Need? (And it's only 2 months so months away is barely correct)

Are you desperate for an argument or something?

Two couples plan to attend the show together. Couple A scored VIP2. Couple B got shut out. Couple B seeks a pair in VIP2.

    This isn't complicated.

Anyone got any recommendations for accommodations just outside the city which are somewhat affordable, family friendly, and easy access to transit/trains in/out of Manhatten?
    Thanks for any input

Jersey City dude. Newport area. It's right on the (Hudson) river. Plenty of really nice hotels (it's actually where the Seahawks and Broncos stayed for the Super Bowl a few years ago)

FAR, FAR cheaper and nicer than anything you are gonna find in Manhattan. The DoubleTree is really nice.

10 minutes to get downtown, 20 into midtown via the PATH. Or you can even take a ferry if you wanna see the skyline as you cross the river.

I always see the 'experienced' NYC tourists on my trains into work every day. A lot of companies have their people stay there when they are on business trips because it's so much cheaper while being just as if not nicer than any place they would have got them in the city itself.

Will you have a cardboard box as your hut and a grocery store cart next to you too? Going to be hard to find you like that. Better wear a name tag...

Very very good call and 100% agree. NYC is way overpriced. If you want to stay in NYC try the financial district/Wall Street area. That area will be the cheapest on a Saturday night since no one is working in that section of town and it s really far away from the touristy areas.
