Looks like the Jebster has finally come around to admitting Iraq invasion was a mistake. I can appreciate that.

Yeah Rubio said same thing but they throw in the....."if we knew the intelligence is wrong" so to not offend the Dubya lovers AND add "in end it took out a brutal dictator". So not an admission just moving a bit to the left on this to not seem totally out of touch. But it is a good step in realizing g our mistake.

Now though the right still thinks we should be ass deep in Syria, Libya and Iraq and push Putin and China and North Korea.

Been reading same stories. Looks like the little one is feeling pressure from within and with some luck maybe he'll be ousted.

May be buying opportunity for some defense stocks.

It is just absolutely hilarious watching those idiots respond to Iraq questions. They have to be so careful of what they say because they have dumbed down their base so much they can't begin to touch on the truth without looking like a complete hypocrite.

it just speaks to the dissonance that you have to have to be a republican presidential candidate.

funny thing is, more and more republicans feel that we should not be getting involved in other countries or regions. the fiscal commitment to such a war would be questioned by today's republicans. going into iraq would fly in the face of those principles. these clowns think they are going to win the white house by saying they would make the same decision to invade even if they know what they know now. morons.

In the next election you will have a democratic candidate who both voted for the initial invasion and then presided over the withdrawal. Let's see what level of respect that generates.

Voting for the invasion after being fed doctored intelligence isn't quite the same as doctoring the intelligence.

It wasn't. Americans that lost their sons and daughters and Americans paying taxes wanted out. Democrats can speak to this.

Are you for real? She was secretary of state during the Libya campaign. She bragged about the removal of Gaddafi and it was heavily reported that she was instrumental in the administration decision making process. The NY Times is currently reporting that Sidney Blumenthal sent her secret intelligence emails on Libya that pushed for a certain outcome. Read a paper man! Every republican must own Iraq but no democrat should own Libya? I love how this game works.

That's a stretch. They weren't "secret intelligence memos" as you state. They were memos of his opinion in an attempt to shape policy for a desired outcome. Which looks like "it", desired outcomes=floating hospitals & schools, didn't happen based on the article. If Hillary should be pilloried, it should be for passing along memos of dubious quality from a "trusted" source. It strikes me as Blumenthal was "influence peddling" and failed to influence. Conspiracy theory much?

Voting for the invasion after being fed doctored intelligence isn't quite the same as doctoring the intelligence.

Are you talking about Iraq or Libya?

Blumenthal passed Hillary intel and she pushed for the invasion of Libya. That went real well..talk about learning from your mistakes!

You referred to her "voting"....that would be for Iraq. Come on man

She also "voted" for the removal of Gaddafi. She just did it behind closed doors. Once again...talk about learning from your mistakes.
    Source?
Are you for real? She was secretary of state during the Libya campaign. She bragged about the removal of Gaddafi and it was heavily reported that she was instrumental in the administration decision making process. The NY Times is currently reporting that Sidney Blumenthal sent her secret intelligence emails on Libya that pushed for a certain outcome. Read a paper man! Every republican must own Iraq but no democrat should own Libya? I love how this game works.

My request for a source was just that. Your article did not describe Clinton having a hand in overthrowing Gaddafi. Far from it. Same BS ( pun intended) Benghazi chanting from the right. And you know doesn't even matter, I'm not going to start playing your game of moving the target and now start defending politicians. Yes all politicians are slimy.

So, again counter to what McCain and other war Hawks wanted, including you we didn't put thousands of troops into these countries. And rightfully so. We can't affect outcome. Hasn't happened in past and won't happen in the future. And the wonderful thing is the majority if the American population is also tired of these folly adventures killing many and pissing away $$

Suggest you STOP reading much of the crap that influences you.

Maybe yes maybe no. Hillary wanted Gaddafi gone.

Care to retract the bolded portion of your claim? And as callen stated, we didn't invade Libya despite the war mongers demands to do so. Its interesting how you misrepresent what you read to shape your desired outcome. Kind of like Cheney, et. al. come to think of it.
