I'm not trying to shit stir here, but it just occurred to me that Howard is a what...one/one and a half tool player?

Right now it's all or nothing for him...again, like I said he is healthy for the first time since 2011. No excuses.

how about that Chooch story? crazy story but good for him for doing everything he could from a long ways away.
  • JK_LivinJK_Livin South Jersey Posts: 7,365
Why isn't Jimmy back at leadoff and Chooch 2nd? A pitcher only has to concentrate on 3-4 hitters on this team. I have a choice between the Phillies and the Collegiate Rugby Championship on Saturday, right now I'd rather be in Chester.
    Alright, alright, alright!

    Howard comes through! :-O :D

Although we did get very lucky in the ninth. 2 errors in the inning and that Boone pitcher was horrible.

Has anyone even mildly entertained the thought of going to Volver? The reviews are outstanding, but I don't think there is any way I could bring myself to spend that much money on food.

isn't it wonderful that our top prospect whittles away in the minor leagues while we start a .150 hitter who has never played third base before this year? i mean why bring up a guy who is supposed to be a pretty good fielder and couldn't possibly hit worse than hernandez and galvis before him??? i mean at some point your best option has to be the guy playing there doesn't he?

gotta say the big thing i miss about living in collegeville is the perk trail. out here, all i got is the 202 trail which is pretty bland and not nearly as scenic. you're basically just riding along cars on the 202 bypass. either way, taking the bike out for a ride in a bit. this weather is fucking awesome.

    tally ho gents.

Aren't the odds against every single player sucking that we've received in a trade the past 3-4 years? You'd think by accident one of them would at least be ok.
