Portland Mall Shooter Stopped by CCW holder, Media lies by omission.

Found this news report. Notice it did not become breaking news on CNN and was hardly mentioned other places. This is how the media lies by omission. Our "news" is nothing more than propaganda.

    Again:

Chemicals often cause cancer. Chemicals are often used to "cure" cancer. That's often how we fight cancer. You hit something that is bad for you with something that is bad for you and hope it works. What about preventing cancer in the first place?

I hate making generalizations, but my experience is that people who love guns don't want solutions, they want guns.

Bravo to the brave gentleman.

And yes. I fully agree that the news is nothing short of being a commercial. They pump out their agendas and their beliefs and sell it as truth.

Actually he stole it. Wait stealing is against the law, couldn't have happened since people don't break laws.

How do I know why he did anything that he did? My point is that you can create all the laws that you want, there will still be people there to break them.

They say, "If guns were outlawed only outlaws would have guns." I say, "If guns were outlawed, there would be fewer guns for outlaws to have." There are so very many guns in America and it is too easy to get them. It's lime to melt them down and make something useful out of them. No, we won't get rid of them all, but the fewer out there, the fewer used to kill.

    Seems logical to me.

My guns have never harmed everyone, I have never been convicted of a crime, and I am not mentally unstable nor am I on mood altering medication. Why should I so freely give up ANYTHING against my will that I paid money for? I haven't harmed anyone. Are you implying that I'm a ticking time bomb because I legally own firearms?

If your guns are stolen they might be used to kill innocent people.

I implied nothing about you personally. Sorry you took it that way.

Again, I don't set why some people see the need to tell everyone about their guns. You open yourself up to having them stolen. That could lead to someone innocent being killed. The responsible gun owners I know (though I wish they weren't gun owners) do not boast about their gun ownership, they do not do posting about it all over the internet.

Wendell Berry wrote a great story about a man who died and the family wanted to bury him. It was illegal to bury the man on his property but the family did so anyway, quietly and respectfully. If people really have to own a gun, I wish they would at least behave this way.

society has ALWAYS had violence from the very beginning... society has made weapons to make it easier to kill. Humans have an inherent nature for violence we cant make a law for that but we can stop the guns part of it.

there's no possible assurance that can be made. gun owners store them responsibly until one gets stolen, and then the pro gunners will claim all of a sudden that person must not have been a responsible gun owner.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNER.

I can't resist, good job trolling me back into this. I don't believe that you are ignorant but that really is one of the most mindless statements I've read on the internet, and I've read quite a bit.

I am required to go through extensively strict background checks TO WORK AT MY JOB because of the potential ramifications to the public if something should go astray. Your statement is an insult and I would expect better from a Pearl Jam fan. Politics aside, (we all disagree on just about anything) that statement is irresponsible. I'd say you should be ashamed of yourself but I'm not sure you know shame. Good day.
