Bob Ward of the Huffington Post has wrote this article that says that an Al-Qaeda offspring could be responisble for the attack of the U.S. Embassy in Libya. One thing that has been cleared to me is that Al-Qaeda and its supporters only want one thing and that is the destruction of Western society. The only way to prevent this in my opinion is by having Muslims that do not agree with Al-Qaeda to stand up. I beleive that the majority of Muslims are peace loving individuals who most likely want to be left alone to pursue their own lives but Al-Qaeda and extermists have taken over and given a bad name to the Muslim relegion.

If you mean that schools in the middle east teach the children to hate us... that's a bit of a broad statement. You'd be surprised that a very large number of the people in the middle east don't hate us at all. It's the extremists who foster that hatred. Pulling money out isn't going to help that.

Necessary defense of the west should be the oy focus when it comes to these nut jobs. Of course many people there are nice nirmal folks, but unfortunately it is the nutjobs who generally manage to run the show (and appareny, ablut 30% of the population inbthe middle eastnwould be considered extreme in their views. That's a lot). No one there, moderate or extremist, really seems to want us there (at least if they do, they certainly aren't willing or able to have their voices heard, however touching that sorry America sign is, and therefore have no impact on the situation), so we should leave now. But everyone should start saving for an electric car. :? It was similar to an attack on the U.S. Embassy in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Tuesday night. A mob of Libyans also attacked the U.S. consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi on Tuesday, killing American Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
Warning shots and tear gas were fired on Egyptian protesters who were clashing with police near the U.S. Embassy in the capital Cairo for the third day in a row.
The violence has raised worries that further protests could break out around the Muslim world as anger spreads over the movie.
Yemeni security forces who rushed to the scene fired in the air and used tear gas to disperse the demonstrators and were eventually able to drive them out of the compound. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was inside the embassy at the time of the attack.
The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Washington, D.C. said in a statement obtained by Fox News the government of Yemen "strongly condemns" the attack on the U.S. compound, but says the situation is under control.
"The government of Yemen will honor international obligations to ensure the safety of diplomats and will step up security presence around all foreign missions," the statement read.
Pentagon officials tell Fox News that Pentagon and U.S. Navy officials are monitoring the situation in Yemen, but so far have received no request for military assistance there following the Embassy breach.
