We gave away loads of cans of cider just outside it, the two couples we met who we gave most to couldn't get over it, even wanted to pay us! We were like .. eh, no, we're 'giving' them away :D Does nobody share in England? :p

Did anyone else make the mistake of staying up until 01:30am this morning to watch the Reading/Leeds highlights only for the bastards to show NO Pearl Jam?

I spotted them showing stuff on BBCi (channel 301) before I went to bed last night, so set my recorder for 4 hours, hoping that it may show something....

I guess they didn't then? Shame. Would be ace if the beeb showed the full set one night

I watched some of that. It was a loop showing one track by each band. PJ was WWS. It was probably a 1-2 hour loop so you may have it a couple of times :D
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

I just watched the entire set again...its even better 2nd time !!!!
Ed was biting his lip to stop crying at the end of Alive repeating "unbelievable, unbelievable, truly unbelievable" he was choked, it all had me shivering.....man it was the best gig I ever saw and I was at Astoria.

Can I post links to the stream or will I get the thread deleted?

I can pm anyone who needs them

I am choked myself and I'm at work so better not cry....they all think I'm crazy enough already ;)

    :D so happy :D

I couldn't believe how many pearl jam tees i saw there, i wonder where they've all been hiding? ;)

That's the great thing isn't it?... PJ are one of those bands that just bring all the fans out of the woodwork, no matter when & where they play.

The sheer range of different T's was also quite amazing. All different ones from all over the world.

I had a few nice comments about my MLB T throughout the day - perhaps it was what inspired them to play Crown Of Thorns. :D

A great gig & a great day all round.
Goot now go & buy the bootleg.

Roll on the UK tour... hopefully they'll squeeze it in during October.
    *fingers crossed*

a perfect set, my unborn childs first gig!

ed and jeff sitting on stage at the end marveling at us as we marveled at them will live with me forever

    come back soon, thank you

Hey RX7 - Me too! Found out I was expecting last Friday so this was my bubba's fist PJ gig too! Congratulations!

I am so glad I got the tickets to go to Reading now. I was a wuss and stayed behind the second barrier (although was at the v. front of it) but it sounds like it was even more amazing down the very front. Just didn't want to die! It was the most amazing gig i've been to in a long long time and I'm so jealous of all you folks heading off to Europe. I was on holiday in Oz when the european tour dates were announced (and sadly when PJ played the Astoria) and just couldn't believe that there were no UK dates. I must admit I was disappointed when they only announced Reading and Leeds (and Dublin) and I hope they don't release uk dates next year around the time i am due to give birth. I so want to see PJ again in Europe but I haven't the funds or the holiday time.

PS. What was Gary Barlow doing fronting My Chemical Romance?

hey peg... I didn't know he was crying either... knew he was emotional and struck but did not realise how much!! I remeber the binoculares though and the guitar spotlight... plus I seem to recall Matt putting his arm round ed right at the end and er bad turn of phrase ... pulling him off :)

have not watched the webcast yet just downloading it!
