I like Insanity better than P90X. P90X gets boring soon and with Insanity you don't have time to think, let alone get bored. And, it is so freaking intense, love it. Only bad thing with insanity for me is that my joints hurt and get stiff in the morning. Getting down the stairs after I wake up is quite awkward.

When I want shorter workouts, but also intense I go and do one of this http://www.youtube.com/user/ZuzkaLight

Oh, I don't mind if they are burned. All the discs are there right?

Text or PM me your address.
Mamasan...I'm sure you know, but you'll need some weights or bands for p90x. Pull up bar is optional as long as you can mount the bands to a door.

Yep they're all there - and all the schedules and fit test tables are all on a disc too, so you can just print them out.

And I do have weights and bands - I don't really have a door to mount anything to where I work out in my house tho, will that be really detrimental to it?
There are quite a bit of pullups involved with p90x and p90x2. I got one of those pullup bars you can put on any door frame. Works great and was pretty cheap. You can find them on Ebay for way less than in a store.

    Did #41 tonight!
  • Has anyone tried JNL Fusion? I've been doing P90x/Turbo Fire hybrid, but it's time to move on to something new. I haven't tried insanity, but I'm really bored of the P90x strength training and want to try something else that would incorporate HIIT and strength

I started the Insanity yesterday. I need to start getting in shape for baseball and running and shit and n33ded to change it up from p90x. Love the workouts, but really find myself watching the clock on there now.

Yeah, the Fit Test gassed me pretty bad. Watched what is in store today and Im going to have to bring a bucket with me to the basement.

 One of my friends stopped by one night while I was doing Insanity - I was a sweaty mess of grossness. He said that it must really be a great workout. That was only after the warmup :fp: Get ready and good luck!

Got the P90x dvd's yesterday, thanks mca!!

I know it's cheaper to get all the stuff on the bay, but I want to get started on the program Monday so I'm just gonna head to the sports authority this weekend and get the pull-up bar. I already have bands and weights, so I guess I'm set there. Can't wait to get started on it!

Yeah do not underestimate Shaun T! It'll be super cool in 2 weeks when you do it again and you increase all your reps on those.

Got the bar for P90x yesterday, gonna start tonight, can't wait!

    its no joke.
I thought the fit test would be easy pickins, but it was a bit draining.

    Wait until the workouts.

You will love the length though. Compared to p90x, they go so quick
