Fit Test was a bit tougher than I thought it would be. Was really breathing heavy!

    its no joke.
I thought the fit test would be easy pickins, but it was a bit draining.

    Wait until the workouts.

You will love the length though. Compared to p90x, they go so quick
    Coooooool!

Did Day 1 yesterday: Chest/Back & Abs. I LOVE it! Granted I'm quite sore today, but if I wasn't that would be a bad thing. I ended up wrapping my tubing band around my pull-up bar instead of using the bar this time. I'm not strong enough yet and I was getting a feel for the exercises. Next time I'll use the bar with a chair. I think I'm also going to get those push-up bars that they use because my wrists were killing by the end of it.

Plyo tonight...I remember dreading Plyo in Insanity...so not looking forward so much to this one

you will probably find the plyo much easier than the Insanity workouts.

Its a lot slower moving. Its more of a leg workout with depth as opposed to speed.

i *hate* plyo! though it makes me appreciate Mike and Jeff and how high they can jump while holding an axe.

Yeah, I never minded Plyo on P90x. By the end, you get pretty whooped...probably just because its so damn long! I still think the absolute WORST P90x workout is Legs and Back. Holy hell that's not fun!

yeah, the first one or two I got sore until my muscles got used to it. But after that, it was easy to keep up aerobically with the people in the video.

Did Plyo last night...wow that was FUN! Yeah mca you're right, it was long...I was so used to the shorter Insanity workouts but I have to say that I really enjoyed this much more. I kept up with everything no problem yet it was a great workout. There were parts where I was literally laughing because it was so fun - those circle runs, haha great! And the rockstar jumps are way cool...love the Baba O'Reilly in the background there :D I'm a bit sore today but not too bad. Stoked for shoulders/arms/abs tonight.

isn't that the best! you feel kick ass cause you can keep up with all those athletes in the video, but still you have just a bit sore muscles, which means workout is effective and you're doing something right

is it weird to love to be a bit sore the day after wourkout!? :?

Also, keep this in the back of your head if you didn't read earlier posts....

German Potato Soup girl in the first workout was in some serious hardcore porn before p90x. Videos can be found online, but i don't recommend looking for it. Not....good!

Yes it is!! It's obviously a great program, solid workout, yet not impossible. I don't think that's weird - if I do a workout and I'm not sore afterwards either I know I was being lazy or the workout sucked

You'll know her when you see her. Just look for the blond with the man face.

Yeah, after I read that German Potato Soup was in porn, I looked her up. There were a couple of videos of her. She was a lot younger and didn't speak much or any English.

Let's just say that she would have been better suited for the "Stretch X" video.
In the most PC/family forum way to put the video...
German Potato Soup girl the "focus of attention" of a about 5-6 very large dudes. :D

So I did shoulders/arms/abs last night. Awesome workout, very doable and thorough! I think next time I'll have to up my weights though. I started with 8's just because I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm not very sore at all. Gonna bump it to 10's next week and keep the reps at 12-15.

    Yoga tonight. God help me!

So...I did the yoga last Thursday...good grief I think Tony Horton was trying to kill me! Seriously wayyyyy too long. I've never done yoga before, so it was pretty funny and I was flailing everywhere, but it was fun and I'm sure with practice I'll get better.

Then I got an awful stomach bug and haven't been able to work out since :x Legs/back tonight, I'm stoked, I love leg workouts!
