As a French man, i'm ever so sorry to what happened to some of you especially, taking into account how dedicated you are into Pearl jam.

What? you're apologizing in the name of France now? Why is this whole language-nationality thing such an issue for you? You say it's not, but you keep bringing it up everytime!

My second point, i'd like to make, is how can't you crazy on songs like Even Flow Not For You Lukin Go RITFW Corduroy Save u animal Evolution and others.....? Personaly, i can't see myself just standing there....

Nobody's asking you to just stand there. Rock out all you want. All everybody here - and the band first of all - is asking from you is to take care of one another while doing so.

When I'm coming to see PJ, I really don't care about other shows of other bands. I'll care about that when I see other shows from other bands.

Well, don't go see them in the US, cause if I'm not mistaking, almost every venue there is completely seated, also on the floor. There you have people jumping up and down in front of their chairs.
  • I thought it was pretty cool when Ed did the beam of light reflection thing with his guitar - I can't remember which song it was though, anyone?

I'd seen it on pictures from the US tour, but to witness it live was pretty cool. Especially cause I was in front and I could turn around and follow the spotlight moving across the audience.

    Sweet.

You lucky guy,Mike pointed at me twice while playing the guitar so i was over the moon with that.

  • Whoa there's a lot of whining and bitching here...
I really don't think "a lot of people got hurt", it did get rowdy from time to time but seriously, all you had to do was step back a tiny little bitch, which is what i did, and then everything was fine.
It seems that some people just want to give lectures no matter what.
  • I agree with Sundin!!

It wasn't that rought, a lot of people enjoyed it

I think the he did it towards the end of 1/2 full. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant!!!
If Pearl Jam was a beer, they'd probably be the best beer in the world!!

Why should people who enjoy seeing the band for the MUSIC alone move back? So idiots who can only enjoy the band while endangering others should monopolise the front of the venue. Dream on. These people are not the true fans.

Its not only about getting hurt! People who are fearing for their safety cannot fully enjoy the music.

Surely your not trying to put forward an arguement that is people should be allowed to do whatever they like and f*ck everyone else! Its obviously going to sound like we are lecturing people because we are trying to make people realise its not fair on others.
  • keep going back to how rough the crowd was and the whole debate about moshing. Hardly anything on this thread has mentioned the show or what some people thought were the great bits or the not so great bits. Can't we all agree to disagree and make it better for everyone the next show and can't we all post reviews of the show here instead??!!?!

    I agree... MOVE ON!!!

I still think the best bit was Rearviewmirror and RITFW... I swear they could have just played Rearviewmirror all night and I would have been happy!!!

What did you think was the 'worst' song of the night? I know... I know... every song was fantastic but if you had to pick one thing you wish had been better what would it have been?

Whats mine I hear you ask? I would have love the crowd to sing the start of betterman... dont get me wrong it was still great but everytime I see the MSG DVD it sends shivers down my spine and I would have loved to have done it in Paris...

  • loved the 2nd encore Go Evolution RITFW.

Was nice to get Lukin and Not For You, both linked, was wicked

Was nice to get some riot act.....You Are 1/2 full was awesome

The only thing, i would complained, is the fact, that's i've seen Pearl Jam 3 times on this tour, and would have loved to see them start out their show with another song than Interstallar. Would have loved to get instead "Release or Oceans"

A shame, i didn't get to hear "Whipping last Exit Porch State Of Love and Trust Inside Job"

Overall,i really feel happy and luck to have been able to them, 3 times, and can't wait for next year in the Uk hopefully!!!!!!!!!

  • was hearing Yellow Ledbetter for the first time ever. Amazing closer to an amazing gig. Also, kinda liked You Are. I don't think thumbing my way should be played at non-acoustic gigs. Is kinda slow and boring. Kinda kills the mood. Don't get me wrong, it's great on the album and on Benaroya and I don't dislike the song but i think it wasn't great at Bercy.

  • Bushleaguer instaed of thumbing my way would have been better, and would have not killed the athmosphere

EXCELLENT CHOICE!! That would have been great with it being Sep 11 as well...

I LOVED YELLOW LEDBETTER with Little Wing. I heard the soundcheck for Little Wing and they played the song with full band... Don't know if it was PJ or the Crew but it was really cool...

About the show ... Great to hear RITFW.
Eddie and Mike were in great shape.
I was a bit disappointed about the setlist ... too many songs from Riot Act which is definitely not my favourite PJ album.
The sound was sometimes not OK:sometimes I heard Mike's solos, sometimes not ... strange.

but all in all it has been great to see them live for the second time in 10 days ... was waiting for that moment since a long long time.
  • Hopefully, they'll be around next year in the Uk

Yeah. I left my passport on the plane and only realised when walking through passport control. I had to wait around for half an hour for someone to get it. I was afraid for a second I'd have to return to England.

Yeah i got one from mike.
Was dead straight in front of him all night and he was staring at me for about 20 seconds at one stage in particular as i was killing some song,,poor people around me.
i eventually got my hands up which were wedged in front of me for about 30 mins and threw my flag up to him.
He hung it up and came back looked at me and threw me a pick...
