It is not going to be bad and no ones safety is at risk. It's just going to be a weird feeling. After the poor display from students the other day, I think people will be suprised at the good behavior, may not like the support for joepa but no ones safety is at risk, aside from Sandusky

seriously. cancel the game. cancel classes. shut down the university!!!!

    such overreactions.

    you heading up there tomorrow?

I hope so for both of your sakes. There are total scumbags supporting a football coach who knew a child was raped. Mix in a heavy alcohol presence and 85,000 people, yep what could possibly go wrong......

They need to close this sess pool of a school.

    What a comically ignorant comment.

you're obviously lost if you expect there to be 85,000 people at a PSU football game. plus the game is at noon. nothing bad is going to happen.

CLOSE DOWN THE SCHOOL!!! IT'S SO DANGEROUS

the people making these claims are the ones that want dodgeball abolished

everyone need to chill and let the truth come out. the scumbags will get theirs. penalizing the players, students, fans, community isn't gonna solve anything

I will be the first to admit that I was wrong.

Until I saw that today, I thought the game should be cancelled.

They did themselves proud last night and today. Nice turn around and shift in focus from the events earlier this week. This is exactly how they need to move ahead and present themselves to the country.

Espn did a great job with it. The boy in the crowd with tears on his face who was probably 14 or 15 was poignant.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

I agree. That shot really captured the emotion of the crowd. Almost $300k already raised. Pretty amazing:

I will be making a donation. I have to admit. I never heard of this organization. So if there is some good in this (and there is way too much damage to be truly good) it's that folks like me who have no idea how to really help now know of an organization such as this. It's not even a silver lining. Maybe a paper lining (not because of the org but because of what it took to wake an idiot like me.)

RAINN is an awesome organization. Tori Amos co-founded rainn back in 1994, so they've been around for a while. Victims can call their national hotline and it connects them with the closest rape crisis center. They also have an online hotline and do a ton of campus work and activism. I agree - If any good is going to come out of this whole tragedy it will be that there will be more awareness and more of a likelihood that people will realize they have to step up and do something and not just stay silent. I hope that Sandusky's victims will get the help they need to heal through this and become survivors. I work with a lot of survivors and they are the strongest people I know.
