sigh... before Taylor passsed they were going to play in our 7000 seater arena. Closest show to me is Safeco Field, in the summer on a workday. Unfortunately i'm going to skip and hold out hope they play Vancouver again at some point. Seattle is not a cheap to stay in during the summer :(
I was thinking of hitting Minneapolis next July. But I think I'll hold out they come back to Winnipeg for the first time since 2000-fucking-8. But I guess it would have to be our outdoor stadium, which would mean 2025.
Maybe? The last time they played Vancouver was in 2018, and they played the Arena, while Seattle which was right before (or was it right after) was at the baseball stadium.
I'm kind of wondering how FF will settle into touring. This year it was dipping their toes with some festival dates. Next year its a smaller tour (for them) in big venues.
With what happened, I wonder if they'll hit the brakes on their touring a bit. They used to tour like they were 20. If they go back to that I could see Arena's in smaller markets again.
I wouldn't want to even attempt to get tix to a Foo show in Winnipeg in our 13,000 seat shed. Impossible at this point.

Anybody going to the Sydney show tonight?
It’s going to hit 43C in places today (109F) and Accor Stadium is basically a massive concrete box with no air flow, so it’s going feel even hotter! Look after yourselves and stay hydrated.
From Frontier Touring:
Sydney Foo Fighters attendees - a high of 41 degrees is predicted for Homebush. While a cool change is forecast by the BOM to come through between 6-8pm it is important that you are prepared.
Remember to:
ℹ️ Stay hydrated - you can find a map indicating water taps and bubblers located around Accor Stadium at frntr.co/FooFighters23AccorMap
ℹ️ Patrons are permitted to bring a drink container that is soft and no larger than 600Ml. Please be mindful that no steel or hard plastic containers will be allowed into the venue, and no lids are permitted in GA areas
ℹ️ Look after yourself and your fellow concert-goers
ℹ️ If you or another patron is feeling unwell, please seek the attention of your closest venue staff member. Extra staff have been added to the event to assist where needed.
ℹ️ First-aid is located around Accor Stadium. You can find the locations at frntr.co/FooFighters23AccorMap

Love this more and more w/ each listen. I haven't been this excited about their music since high school w/ the first four albums out by then. This is early Foos all over it. Show Me How is something else. Never thought I'd hear something this deep, personal, and lo-fi at this point in their career.

no one was talking about that film. I heard it was a stinker. But if I was at a show where Jack Black came out and sang Big Balls?? (I'm not even a jack black fan, I don't find him funny at all). that's fucking awesome!

I thought the Studio 666 movie was fucking hilarious. The end of the movie when it morphed from more of a comedy into more of a campy horror movie was boring to me but that’s because I’m not a horror movie fan at all.

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. You obviously can't take it serious, it's funny, silly, and and a campy horror all in one. If you watch it with that mindset, you will enjoy it.

Decided to go the Seattle show this summer. Bought Fan2Fan tickets in the lower section of the stands, hoping I can luck out and get GA at some point.
Not sure what FF touring style is now. They use to relentessly tour, but since the passing of Taylor, it seems maybe that's not a thing any more. Maybe they'll play Vancouver next year, but I figured, fuck it, I love the new album, I want to see the tour
I ended up getting GA for the Friday 7/19 show at Citifield - so I just listed two great reserved seats for Face Value for the Wednesday 7/17 show. They are in section 106, row 29 seats 7-8 if anyone here is interested. Thanks.

Nice, did you score them via fan2fan?
I've only seen GA tickets pop up a few times for Seattle. Once the day before I talked a friend into going, so I didn't pull the trigger fast enough. Saw a single yesterday, but was too slow. Hoping, I've got hope to snag a pair. Would much rather be in GA than the stands

No. I actually got them in the regular sale months and months ago after I had already gotten the reserves in the presale. I just kept refreshing and all of a sudden a pair showed up. We were originally thinking about going to both shows but just recently decided to only use the GA tickets and sell the others. If they don’t sell we will go back to our plan to go both nights.
