We got 3 almost flawless albums this month from Rival Sons, FF and QOTSA. Great month for music.

I didn't care much for the QOTSA album. I do like the new Clutch that recently came out, though. That Rival Sons album has been on repeat daily in my house. I've loved them for many years but this is their best album to date. Thrilled they have another one called Lightbringer coming out this fall. So much better than cramming everything onto a double album.

Anyone else going to be in Milwaukee on Saturday?  My wife and I will be there and live only 5 min from Veterans Park.

I'm in the same boat, the new Foo Fighters quickly grew on me, and I'm really enjoying it alot.  I've spun the new QoTSA album and it's not sticking with me.   I find that a shame, because I really enjoyed the last one (Villains).   That one grew on me quick and it's one of my favourite QoTSA albums.

Every time I listen to the new album, I like it even more.  And Rest makes me cry just about every time....perfect closer to such an emotional album.

An easy album to like only after a couple of listens. But the packaging does my head in, I like to read all the cover notes when I first listen but I just wanted to fire this in the bin.

I think it’s their best since Wasting Light.  I actually just put on their discography today during an 8-hour road-trip.  Wasting Light really pops over One by One, In Your Honor and Echoes.

I wonder if Freese will stay with them, or move on to other things. I could see him sticking w/ them for another year / tour. From what I've seen, they seem to be having fun.

They are playing Fenway, which I think would be closest to you if you are interested in seeing them.

I might try to pick up a couple of tickets for Cincinnati. We have never seen them, but my wife said she would like to at some point.

Saw that... didn't even check the day of the week, it's not really on my radar at the moment.

I'll consider if as the date gets close & there's still tickets available.

Hershey is the closest to me. least it's in the summer so kinda doable.

Pretty awesome that they got The Hives to open for them although I'd rather see them headline in a smaller joint.

I heard not too many good things about Hershey Park Stadium so I think I might pass on this one

I got a pair for NYC. The only issue was that for this presale they were only selling GA to Citicard holders, which I am not one of. I got decent lower decks close to the stage. But I am going to see if GA will be sold to everyone at the regular sale. If so, I will get those and sell my reserved on F2F.

sigh... before Taylor passsed they were going to play in our 7000 seater arena.   Closest show to me is Safeco Field, in the summer on a workday.  Unfortunately i'm going to skip and hold out hope they play Vancouver again at some point.  Seattle is not a cheap to stay in during the summer :(

I was thinking of hitting Minneapolis next July. But I think I'll hold out they come back to Winnipeg for the first time since 2000-fucking-8. But I guess it would have to be our outdoor stadium, which would mean 2025.
    Flight Risk out NOW!

I thought about GA, but the heat in July in Cincinnati coupled with my wife having issues with her hip lately which makes standing for hours painful for her, I settled on aisle seats in the lower bowl on the third base side. She is excited. She has wanted to see them for a while.
