This is a great record, I think it’s one of the best they’ve done. It’s been a while since I’ve sat and listened to a Foo album in full, as they are always dominated by the big singles, but this is a ‘proper’ album that needs your full attention.

There are a lot of deep moments, obviously referencing Taylor and Virginia Grohl. It’s impressive enough that this record got made at all, even more impressive that it’s such a good one.

This album is really growing on me. It’s fucking awesome. Incredible that this band was able to make this record during such a sad period of time.

"Rest" is a very moving song on which to end the album.

Yeah man it's a really good one.  Feels like Taylor just died a few months ago and they already have an album out dealing with their grief.

My album was delivered today. I got the white vinyl. Just giving it a first listen right now. I love how all the writing on the album and on the lyric sheet are so faded and ghostly. Lots of symbolism.

How does the The Teacher finish live? Like the record? With the vocal and noise? If they could pull off something similar live that would be amazing!! Maybe use one of those loop machines that Ed used for Arc in his solo gigs. That would be powerful stuff!
