This band just won’t take a breather and I love it. Awesome
I am finally getting around to reading Dave's book. It is great. Reading it, I can definitely see how much he loves being on stage and performing. I mean he didn't even take a break when he fell of the stage and broke his leg. He had the doctor come on stage with him and hold his ankle in place while he finished the set.
Some really funny stories, also enjoyed reading it.
Yes. There are. I went to his Storytellers show when he was in NYC. He told a lot of stories from the book. It was a great show.

Wasting Light is a masterpiece. They went downhill with Sonic Highways, Concrete and Gold, and Medicine At Midnight.
I understand sonic and medicine, but I really don't understand why Concrete and Gold didn’t stand out to more to people.
I think it's their most underrated album

When they announce more shows to support the new album, I guess we are going to see them. My wife, who has never expressed any interest in going to see them live, recently told me she wanted to see them when they tour around us again.
I actually turned on my radio this morning and was pleasantly surprised to hear new Foo's

There was a rumor about Matt Cameron having been seen at or around their studio, but I'm skeptical... I feel like Dave will be doing the drums in the studio right now... unless they've figured out a permanent replacement for Hawkins.

The way the description says something about channeling their debut album makes me think Dave played most of the drums.
I did not
In all seriousness, he probably did the drums. Just like in the first album.

Not all of it from what I remember but all the huge sounding songs. I love The Collector. Such a good album. And guess who played live drums during that era? Freese. The Beside You In Time DVD is awesome. Pulling off getting the A Perfect Circle rhythm section was some coup.

Just noticed that Ilan Rubin announced he’ll be playing a couple shows with Danny Elfman in August. Josh Freese had previously played the Danny Elfman shows last year at Coachella and the Hollywood Bowl.

We have any idea who's on drums?
I find the new song kind of "meh". But we'll see after multiple listens.
