12/01/10 in many parts of the world means january 12, 2010. i presume they meant 2011, because january 12 is the date i got my shipping email, as i'm sure many of you did.

you realize they are in europe and that means that it was actually shipped jan 12, but they musta meant 2011.
anyways... i finally got my refund today... they would not have offered refunds if they actually sent the boxes out... they obviously over sold these things and us suckers were on back order...
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
I ordered from them last week, but my UPS tracking number says "A label for this shipment has been created, but UPS does not yet have possession of this shipment. Once we receive the shipment, the tracking status will be updated."
I emailed the guy, and he actually called me to try and figure out what was up, as it was mailed on the 1st. I would say a bit better customer service than Universal for sure, but as of now, still no LO10L :(
dont worry man... those guys over at sound stage are top notch... hey if you got an actual call back, that speaks volumes abuot their better customer services... i bet you will get it early next week

But talked to the dude on the phone (forget his name), and he was well aware of the board and all the problems with Universal. Seemed like a good guy, and aside from a bit of a snag, they have good customer service for sure.

Agree. After waiting for so long, I ended up ordering from soundstagedirect. I received my order in three days. The way they packed it was awesome. I think the box would have survived being ran over by a tank! I am very impressed with soundstagedirect's customer service too (verification emails. tracking #'s, and a follow up as to how their service was). I will be a repeat customer from here on out.
So mine arrived yesterday. Its confusing as I was looking for a date that it shipped but nothing really on the box. I think it came from Belgium.
However, any problems it had an address from the UK. Weird!
Im not sure if this is the original order that arrived as they emailed me last week saying they were sending a replacemant. Time will tell.
For the money spent, it was a bit of an anti climax. The lp's are great though.
Hope you all get sorted soon. Never Universal again for me.

a) send me a replacement with express post, tracking etc
or
b) refund
They said if I want them to send a replacement via express post I would have to re-order it and select express post.
I politely told them to fuck off and to give me my money back.

I got an official refund from universal. I'm in the states and have reordered thru amazon.ca. I ordered sat, getting it from them this coming Friday for $30 less.
I wonder if universals ever shows up. They really fucked this whole thing up BADLY!!!!
