well Greg Millen said he was 27 during a game a few starts ago, so i just looked at mapleleafs.com and he is indeed 27.

9-3-1 is 19 points and enough for a tie for 1st in the NHL when was the last time leafs could say that lol, hopefully we will get our revenge on boston and kessel gets a hat trick so Leafs fans can chant thank you kessel instead of the morons in boston lol.

last time we were on top was four games into last season...but that shouldn't count in anyone's books.

Like to see another game from Scrivens, just after one game he gives me more confidence watching him in net than the monster does. But would rather have Reimer back.
Finally seems like Graboski line is picking it up, or should I say MacArthur

  • While I'm a Leafs fan till the bitter end, and I'm really pleased with their start this year, they haven't really been tested yet. In the two games this year where they faced "Competition" (despite what early standings say) in Boston and Philly, they got it handed to them pretty good.

Tonight will be interesting to see if they can bounce back vs Boston or if it's another loss...

It is great that all the younger guys are looking sharp. Reimer needs to get healthy if the Leafs stand a chance. Guss can't steal them any games...I'm being realistic here when I say that this year looks like they'll be a bubble team once everything evens out...Hopefully they'll be on the right side of the bubble come April.

hopefully scrivens ... monster is not very good ... fundamentally ...

this team is sort of like the buffalo bills ... they got lucky early in the season to get off to a good start but they really aren't as good as the record shows ...

Nice game by the boys last night for a Leafs/Marlies roster. I think Lupol is going to be the point leader for the Leafs yr. Wasn't sold on him when he first arrived, but I think he is a solid player. The Monster actually played well too, I think they went with him instead of Scrivens because of Scrivens home record so far, he doesn't play well at home for sure.

    GO LEAFS GO :D

I think most people weren't sold on Lupul. I picked him up with my very last fantasy draft pick - was sitting in my queue from the start of the draft. Best 272nd pick ever! :)

Some nights the Leafs look great, but other nights, they're down right ugly. :wtf:

i hope so, the thing i find when playing with Kessel he always looks to pass to him, Bozak just needs to keep the other team honest by firing the puck at the net like he did tonight.

Yeah Bozak is looking real good right now. I think he is playing much better than last yr. I would keep him between Kessel & Lopul right now and Connoly can play 2nd line right now, not sure what to do when Graboski comes back though

  • I've got to say, that Beauchemin for Lupul, Gardiner and a pick in 2013 is looking like a damn good trade right about now.
  • And good on Phanuef for not throwing the gloves last night when challenged. That was smart hockey

yeah ... gardiner looks real good for his age ...

for sure you can't break up the kessel line ... not sure what to do when grabovski comes back but it's a nice problem to have ...

Even Cody Franson is playing better after the Komasarek injury, i just worry about the Monster, Scrivens and i'm even worried how long it will take Reimer to get into game shape after the long lay off.

  • Apparently, The reiminister of defense is pretty close to coming back. He's been fully participating in practice the last few days.
