NORMAN, Okla. (AP)—Oklahoma has suspended receiver Jaz Reynolds indefinitely after he posted what coach Bob Stoops called “insensitive remarks” on his Twitter page about a gunman who committed suicide on the University of Texas campus.

An account with the handle JazReynolds posted the message, “Hey everyone in Austin, tx…….kill yourself” on Tuesday, the day of the suicide, followed by a disregard request 5 minutes later. The account was deactivated Wednesday.

Stoops says he is “incredibly disappointed that someone connected with our team would react so callously.”

Reynolds, who has no catches this season, will miss at least Saturday’s game between the eighth-ranked Sooners and No. 21 Texas in Dallas.

Stoops says that the “rivalry with Texas will not come at the expense of dignity and respect.”

uhhh ... first of all - it's not a theory if that is what you believe ... secondly, you miss the point completely as i am nowhere close to inferring only conservative, religious people commit suicide ... there is more to this story than we know and there are lessons to be learned ... obviously, streaming your roommates private moments for shits and giggles is the stuff assholes and losers are made of ... i could be wrong but if i'm not - there might be an additional lesson for all of us ...

no i am not a parent, yes it got to be devastating to his parents. i won't argue that. but as a bystander with no skin in this game, i feel for the kid for being taped and broadcast, i don't feel for the kid because he choose to jump

more news on this, this morning. In an interview with a legal expert on the today show, its been found out that the scumbag was made aware of the deceased sexual orientation back in August. Tweeted this info. And didnt seem very accepting of it.This guy KNEW what his roommate was and chose to publically embarrass him. He didnt just want to see what was going on in the room that night.He intended to do this. And further hoped to "catch" him again , the day before the young man took his life.
