If you honestly believe a politician (any of them no matter what they believe) thinks or acts like their ideology is more important than their re-election and maintaining their position of power, you are seriously insane. And last I checked our nation and constitution is founded on religious freedom. Perhaps you should read it instead of using it as more of a catch phrase or mouthpiece? but thats what youve just done by demanding he release his records. i dont see why just because the bigots are 'concerned' the man should assuage that concern. do you not think its been looked into already. do you not trust your government to make sure all the funding for this project is above board? why dont you show us your finances so we can be sure youre not contributing any money to anything related to terrorism or anything else that threatens the united states.

it is not a good idea to start telling religious organization where they can build what, regardless of where you stand on this one

if you don't think that the US Gov is tracking where the money is coming from for this project you are wrong. We might not know but they are watching it very closely I am sure.

lastly (and this is not necessarily my point of view more of me trying to make a point) but if you wanted to watching a large population in a large US city, why not let them building a big ass community center where they will all gather and you can take attendance on their way in

this has EVERYTHING to do with freedom of religion. sorry man, but for most americans, the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of religion trumps every other variable or issue in this case. you are against national health insurance, yet you are all about these families that lost people on 9/11. i lost a former roommate, his dad, and their family friend. you don't see me callling for vengeance and death/war nor do you see me calling for new york to block this mosque.

why are the families that lost loved ones on 9/11 more important in your eyes than those that lost loved ones to medical conditions not covered by private insurance companies? slow painful deaths due to pre-existing conditions. families bankrupted by medical bills the same as those on 9/11 lost a bread winner..in my opinion it is the same thing. those on 9/11 were killed by religious zealots while those that died due to lack of insurance are victims of capitalists who are just as zealous about their profits as the religious zealots are about their faith...

Also when has anybody been ever thrown out on the street or denied medical attention ? That's bull shit and you know it.
