    It is...

    My fatass has never had a McRib.
    But I will have one next week, if you want to take that bet.
    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    McCown has 13 TD passes and 1 interception in his 5 games.
    And now he is going to the bench?
    :lol::lol::lol::lol:
    I don't give a flying fuck how much Cutler is being paid.
    McCown would be my starter against Cleveland.
    Cutler would be on the bench looking like he is sucking on a lemon. Because since the day we signed that clown, he has always looked like he is sucking on a lemon. Right? :lol::lol::lol:

    I'll take you up on that bet but you can keep your snickers. A PBR tallboy would wash that McRib down nicely, though.

    It's go time.

  • Ok deal.
    I say Cutler throws an interception in the Red Zone.
    For a McRib and a PBR.

    it's a bet.

    To be clear, the line of scrimmage has to be within the red zone when the pass is thrown for it to count. It doesn't count if, say, he throws a Hail Mary from the 50 yard line that gets picked off in the end zone.
  • And I find it strange that over the course of this season, that the Bears just couldn't sign anyone, who is capable of stopping the run. They could not find one or two 380lb. slobs to plug up the middle? Really? There is nobody out there looking for work? All I need them to do is just line up next to each other and plug up the middle. Who were those 2 guys we had back in the 90's? Traylor and Washington? Each one of those guys weighed 380lbs. All they did was stand up, put their ass cheeks together, and they plugged up the entire middle of the field. :lol::lol::lol:

    Keep Cutler on the bench!!!!!
    Please!!!
    For the love of God and all that is good in this world!!!!
    PLEASE keep Cutler on the bench!!!!!!!

    :lol::lol::lol:

    But they wont..
    And I will bet anyone here 2 snickers bars and a McRib sandwich...

    I say Cutler throws an interception this week, in the Red Zone.

    If he's healthy, he should play. McCown has done an amazing job and had a career game last week (also would have thrown 3 picks if the Dallas secondary could actually catch the ball)...but Jay has the means and capability to put up more points. We need as many points as possible with our shitty D.

    I disagree. I have never, ever been that impressed with Cutler. He is capable, I admit that. He is above average. But I would just keep on riding the HOT HAND. McCown is the HOT HAND.

    McCown is the HOT HAND.
    There's part of me that agrees with you. I'd like to see McCown get a shot against the Browns, but not for the reasons you do. I just want to see what he's able to do against a good defense. He hasn't really faced any yet.

    I say let him play and if he's not getting the job done, then you pull him for Cutler. If he's having a good game, give Jay an extra game to get healthy.

    5 coordinators in 6 years.
    Never had an offensive line.
    Never had an offensive minded coach.
    Never had actual professional-level WRs to throw to.

    They fixed the last 3 over the off season. Before Jay got hurt the Bears were #2 in points scored, and Jay was #4 for overall QB rating.

    Not taking anything away from Josh's performance...this just shows that the Trestman offensive system works. McCown has played on what 11 teams? He was out of football, coaching high schoolers. Trestman made Rich Gannon a pro-bowler, he's brought back a career back-up and made him shine. At this point, all things considered, you need to go with the guy with the most talent...and that's Jay. I feel had Jay not gone down with injuries, he'd be top 5 in stats right now in the NFL, if not top 3.
  • Cutler is starting Sunday. It's the right move.

    Cutler is starting Sunday. It's the right move.
    It's 100% the right move.

    What I think is going to be funny...

    You KNOW ever play, every down, every facial expression, every comment...everything is going to be overly analyzed.

    Jay gets sacked for the first time and everyone's gonna be "Goddamnit! See! See...I told you they should have started McCown! See!" :fp:

    Of course it will. Pretty ridiculous, but that's just how it is with Cutler.

    McCown was great when he stepped in. Yes, he lit up the cowboys….who have one of the worst defenses in the league. And let's not forget that they lost to the Rams and Vikings…2 shitty teams.

    Can the Bears play in Dallas next week instead of Philly?

    It's gonna be a shoot out!
    My guess is that the team that doesn't score 40 will take the L.

    Alshon = Beast

    Every damn week he has a highlight reel grab.

    Just a bit. I'll be having nightmares all week of McCoy running for 250 yards. With these 2 defenses, there's going to be a lot of points scored.

    I don't know about that. I can see both teams scoring 40 points. I'm trying to convince myself that the Bears have a shot to win the game but I just can't.

    Eagles 47
    Bears 44

    Easy Money!!!
    That's the story of Cutlers life.
    Throw a fucking interception in the Red Zone. Once the Bears get close to the end zone, Cutler tries his best, to jam the ball down Brandon Marshalls throat. Doesn't matter if Marshall is in triple coverage.

    But I guess we will blame the 2 interceptions on rust.
    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    I would have started McCown.
    And if it were up to me, McCown would be starting next week too.
    But its not up to me. :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    But you got greedy by predicting that 4th quarter pick and going double or nothing.

    didn't he throw that pick from the Cleveland 30!? ... and isn't red zone the 20 and in?
  • JTHJTH Posts: 3,238
    No, they were at the 14 yard line when he threw that first pick.
  • mca47mca47 Posts: 13,280
    Bears 45
    Eagles 37

    McCoy runs for 325 yards with 4 TDs.
    Conte gets smoked by D. Jackson over and over.
    Conte misses 9 tackles.
    Peppers does nothing, McClellen does less than nothing.
    James Anderson arrives late, jumps on pile to make it seem like he did something.
    Bostic overruns every play.
    Greene dresses, runs around on field.

    Bears still manage to win.
