@Jason P thanks a lot. I always try to get the opinion of everyday folk. Online reviews are helpful but you never know who's getting a favor for pimping stuff.
Hackers shut down the PSN and Xbox networks on Xmas day. If you know anyone who engages in these hacks, please kick them square in the nuts for me and wish them a merry christmas.
Bought Dragon Age. This game is really awesome and well worth the money. Was worried I might finish it quickly, but that is definitely not the case

I agree, the ending of Mordor was one of the worst ever. Dragon Age dragged at first but I am digging it now. I was hoping to finish it before classes start back up. I don't think that is going to happen, it is fucking huge.

Yeah, I was worried when you did the repair the breach mission that it was the end. Definitely not!
I'm a big fan of the astrariums. Really fun.

Did anyone get the shadow of mirrors session pass? I just finished the game and want sure if it was worth it. I've got GTA V on the shelf, but was waiting to finish Shadow before I cracked it open.

Nintendo is releasing a new 3DS. It's name? The New 3DS!
Come on Nintendo. Hire someone to come up with names for your shit.
3ds 2? Honestly, it has a few new buttons and a better processor. They'll probably just slowly faze out the old 3ds and this new model will just be considered the only 3ds.
Anybody finish Dragon Age yet? Been grinding on this fucker for a month.
Me too. Just keeps going and going. Definitely worth the money. Think i've logged around 100 hours at this point

This is a little comp I made by ripping fan-made youtube covers of Sonic The Hedgehog 2's music. It's actually pretty awesome. Just 22 minutes in length put a worthwhile group of instrumentals for your iPhone. Mystic Cave and Oil Ocean especially rule.

02. Dr. Eggman
03. Chemical Plant
04. Aquatic Ruin
05. Casino Night

Battlefield Hardline actually looks pretty damn good based on beta videos. The cops vs. robbers sounded pretty stupid at first, but some of the multiplayer modes like Hotwire, looked like the game Twisted Metal on steroids. Instead of holding a base and getting points, you have to capture a car and then drive it at a high speed while everyone else tries to kill you. I can't wait!
I think the 1st one is one of the greatest video games ever made. They wanted to do another similar one, but at the last minute, the company forced them to make it into a side-scroller for TJ&E 2, and a bunch of demands ruined TJ&E 3. They finally want to independently release the true sequel to TJ&E. Looks promising.
This has been the longest I've gone without playing a videogame. The entire industry seems like it's in snooze mode. Is this how it's gonna be for new gen games?

What type of games are you into? There's a couple solid ones.

Yeah, there are some I wouldn't mind checking out but nothing makes me want to rush to the videogame store. Pretty sure my next purchase will be MLB The Show '15. Just seems like games take so damn long to come out anymore and when they do they are so under-developed where you just have to wait on patches.

It's been a while since I've done a marathon session of gaming (probably a couple of years), but since it was freezing and snowing last weekend, I probably put 15 hours into Far Cry 4. It is a very good game. Skyrim with guns. Probably the best single player FPS out there. You just do what you want to and it has good RPG mechanics as well.

That's what I'm looking for...to see if the multi-player status and settings will transfer over...would be nice if it did.
