He could win the grand slam this year with the monkey off his back.

This is one of the greatest wins in sports history.  Eclipses Tiger in 2019 in emotion and meaning.

if he lost he would be lost.

I think Tiger 2019 was bigger for the sport. But this is so much bigger for the player. Nothing all the much changes if Tiger doesn’t win. Everything changes here

That walk to clubhouse after the playoff was one of the best sports moments I have seen on TV in a long time. There are very few things that are harder than winning the masters. Let alone the grand slam.

any other tourney, I would have been fine with Rose winning, but not this one….he did play incredibly and I saw at least three putts thru the tournament that coulda shoulda gone in….one bounced out from the back of the cup and it wasn’t even moving especially fast.

sucks that that turd Reed got 3rd.

Agree that was fantastic and I loved that CBS and Jim Nantz let it play out without talking over it.

The Masters and a good Bloody Mary (or several). Works well.

that could be a first for “hello, friends.”

actually, nantz is OK but his tiger slurping and NFL work is annoying.

Can’t stand Rory but I this was impressive. He could’ve folded a few times and didn’t. Missing the putt on the 72nd hole was predictable, but the awesome drive and approach on the playoff hole showed some real grit. Gotta give the bastard credit. And having already won the Players, he may be headed for a pretty spectacular season.

It was really a wild round of golf from multiple players.  Bryson dunking two balls, Rory with that chip into the water when he set up the hole perfectly.  That had to be a shank.  Rosey just dropping dimes, but missing that par putt on 17.  I can't imagine the stress that Rory was carrying around all day.  He had his personal weight and the weight of the "patrons" and golfing world on him.
