Detroit starts on the road in Phoenix.. Its only 1993 miles away.. Why are we in the western conference?? I believe Detroit must log the most travel miles throughout a season..
Vancouver and Edmonton log the most miles, with San Jose 3rd.
Right on.. I didn't check the facts but i will believe you..

Over the last several years, San Jose has given me no reason to believe they can win an important playoff series. If they play Detroit in the second round, I think the Wings take it in 6.

I thought I read something that Dallas was up there too... Detroit saves some mileage with relatively short trips in their division.
All western conference teams travel so much... It's no wonder why a lot of older guys are more open to be traded to or sign with eastern conference teams.

I'm so glad that DirecTV and Versus worked out an arrangement a few weeks back!
i'm glad i have center ice.
Yeah I've gotten it the last few years, but those ridiculous Versus exclusives were killing me earlier when they couldn't come up with a resolution. And as a Pens fan, it looks like we're almost exclusively on Versus for the first round, so Center Ice does me no good. But I love being able to watch some of all the series, especially the west coast games late at night.

As a flyers fan, i agree with the flyers beating the Devils (we have their number this year) but i don't think they can beat the Caps. as for Ottawa going to the final is just not possible and the NHL would have a fit having 2 Canadians teams in the final and will make sure that it doesn't happen.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to determine the outcome of a seven game series except the two teams playing it. I get so sick and tired of hearing crap like this. How quickly we forget the dream matchups earlier this decade that the NHL concocted: New Jersey/Anaheim? Tampa Bay/Calgary?? Carolina/Edmonton???
Should I go on?
2 Canadian teams won't make it because they're simply not good enough. End of story.

Wow, the anger. have you noticed that out of your 3 cup finals no 2 teams were from Canada also, i am joking about the NHL making sure that it would happen but do you really think it is impossible to fix a 7 games series. I don't. yes there are only 2 teams playing but there is also 2 refs who have a lot of power. I am not saying that it happens but i can't say it is impossible.
