    Good for you!!!!

I would have loved to have been there. That place had to be rocking!!!

I have watched a gaziillion hockey games over the years, and been to plenty of playoff games at the old stadium, and yesterdays game is easily one of the most exciting games I have seen.
    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

I was lucky enough to be there as well. That is easily one of the best sporting events I have ever been to in my life. That place was rockin. It was crazy to see over 20K people jumping up and down like little kids when Hossa put that rebound in.

Now let's close it out in Nashville tonight!

I was fortunate enough to be there also, as I have season tickets. Can't say it's the best sporting event I've ever been to, but it was great. Probably should have never lost the lead they had. Hopefully they'll end the series tonight.

Games that were better. Pittsburgh winning the cup in Chicago 1992 game 4. Dirk Graham has hat trick in the first period...loudest event I've ever been to. Ever! Chicago Stadium

Konerko grand slam and Podsednik walk off home run in game 2 of 05 World Series.

Those two games were the only two I've personally been to that rate higher in my opinion.
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side

True, I dont think anything at the UC compares to the stadium. I was only 11-12 years old when I was at the stadium, but I just remember it being deafening.

I'd definitely say being there for the Paulie grand slam and Pods' walkoff was better.....I would have killed to have gone to that game.

Let's get it done tonight Hawks!
  • so....seabrook planned that right?

Haha...of course he did! That was crazy...he could try doing that again 100 times and prob couldnt do it once. Great win.

    Bring on Vancouver!!

I heard the series starts on Friday, but haven't been able to confirm that anywhere. Anybody have an idea?

Just heard Jesse Rogers on AM 1000 (he's the Hawks reporter for espnchicago.com) and he said theres a 90% chance the series will start on Friday. I hope so...that will be a great way to get the weekend started.

I have tickets to game two, so that would make it on Sunday probably. If they start on Thursday it would be Saturday, which would mean a lot more drinking. Either way should be good. Last years series with them was great, this year should be better. Very physical.

I was at the game Saturday. I'll stay away tonight. Hopefully that will make a difference. I may have turned the channel on Sat. if I was watching on TV. Gotta win tonight.

    Go Hawks!

Sucks I'm going to miss games on Friday and Sunday. PJ in Indy and Cleveland. Hopefully the Sunday game is during the day.

Talk about domination...go into the shark tank and win two games?? That is unreal. Too bad we've played like shit at home this postseason so far. But with the way Niemi is playing right now, I wouldnt be surprised if this series doesn't go back to San Jose.
  • im thinking a split of the next 2 games, with the hawks winning the series in 5.
