Darkadelic is getting some good reviews- might have to check it out myself!

I’ll be damned, blux is a fellow fan. 😎. Give it a listen!

This is their best work since Phantasmagoria (‘85) in my opinion. It’s better than Evil Spirits (which is pretty damned good).

The last couple of days have been awesome mail days...
Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit - Weathervanes
Ben Harper - Wide Open Light

Now I'm just waiting on the new QOTSA & King Gizzard lp's!
    I LOVE MUSIC.

Decade of Aggression! Their live album. It’s one of my favourite all time live albums. That’s not Seasons btw, it’s South of Heaven. 👍

Leslie West was awesome on the Howard Stern show. Great guy and underrated guitarist.

You don't find it painful to listen to Stern interview people?  It's hard for me to get past a full one nowadays.

Indeed!  What a great guitar player.  I'm sure I've told this story before, but I once talked to a music store owner in Seattle who went to a trade show to check out gear.  He said he heard this amazing guitar player an isle over, went over to check it out, and it was Leslie West playing through a little practice amp.  He said that even with just playing through that little amp, Leslie West had the fattest sound he heard that whole day.  He was mightily impressed!

I have say, at times I have been impressed with some of the things Howard Stern has to say, but in general I find him miserably obnoxious.

Alright, I SWEAR this is the last time I buy this record.
I'm laughing at myself because I'm pretty sure I've owned a copy of this record 5 or 6 times.   For a double album, there's a bit too  much filler.  On the other hand, I keep coming back to a couple of really great songs here, so this time, I'm keepin' it!
Here's on of my favorites... and it really is cool!

The Sons Of Champlin – Loosen Up Naturally

    Label:Capitol Records – SWBB-200
    Format:
2 x Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, LA Pressing, Gatefold
    Country:US
    Released:1969
    Genre:Rock

Interesting version of Some Girls.  I can't remember if it's the French red or Dutch orange version that is supposed to be really good.  It does look like a second pressing since some of the famous faces are gone.  I have the Monarch.  Searched high and low for it, and totally worth it.  Way better than the reissue from a few years ago. That version is lifeless.  Be interested to hear what you think of it.

I probably won’t get that far. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to my MFSL pressing that I’ve had for 35 yrs.
