Ouch!  I'm thinking, "Man, $1500 would buy a lot of records to add to my collection!"  For rich or spendthrift types.

Just ordered this. I  never saw this on vinyl at the time and you can't pick it up for less than £200 these days (if you can find it). Its a nice little additional to my R.E.M vinyl collection for under £30. Not really a must have as I have the singles that were new to this collection but just always wanted it.

Those of you who follow the "Weakest Link" thread will find this amusing- yesterday I found and purchased a near-mint (sleeve and record) condition vinyl copy of this one in a thrift store for $1.29:

I did get this the other day for a buck!!  Mint condition on the media,  good on the cover,  but who cares..

Yes, that's the classic for sure.  This one is good, particularly side A.

I also recently found what I thought looked like a throw-away but it was cheap.  But a few seconds into the first cut and I'm there and a little further along, it's a keeper.  This EP has some songs that don't work as well and I've read that they have even better stuff, but three songs here are killer- "The Price of Sex", "Always Comes Back", and "Down at the Beach".  How did I miss these guys?.  Jack Cassidy was in this band!  Sadly, the guitarist singer Brian Marnell died clear back in 1983.

Better found late than never-  the best songs here are so cool!

C'mon... that's a classic 80s album.. quintessential... and before the hair band atrocity.

It was everywhere.  I managed to miss Bon Jovi but Huey Lewis, being a California guy, was virtually inescapable.

But despite there being millions of copies of that album out there, finding it or anything like it for so cheap is a pretty good score.  I'll listen to some of it simply because I've never heard it on a good system and then put in in my record inventory at the store.  I get 60% of what I sell there, so if I put it out at $4 I'll make $2.40 minus the $1.29 which comes to $1.11 minus the cost of an outer mylar sleeve which I put on all records and- holy shit!-  I'll make about 80 cents on that sucker.  No wonder I'm getting nowhere fast.

I'd buy a nice copy of that for 8 bucks or less in a second.  The songs remind me of growing up.
