about what I expected from this game, I wouldn't trust AJ Burnett in an elimination game on the road based on what I saw in Anaheim and I certainly would never ever count the Phillies out. That's how much I respect them.

Very nice job Phillies on the win today.

Im a bit worried though. It seems that when they're ahead the Yanks either beat them or catch up dramatically

Hopefully a game 7 is in the works for the Phills, cause I can't stand to see the Yankees winning.

personally jose, you seem like a nice guy...but i don't think you really know much of what you're talking about. plus, to not talk until "your" team was up 3-1 disqualifies you from further shit talking.

champ, why don't you sit the next few plays out.

Since 1999, when one pitcher starts a playoff game on three days' rest against a starter on full rest, the short-resters are 12-36.

    Just sayin...

12 out of 36 is 1 out of 3 which just so happens to be exactly what the Yankees need.

    Lee is a phenomenal pitcher.

Even tho he may have been more " hittable " then in his prior game,

he still stymied our Yankee hitters.

Wednesday is going to be excellent.

What the hell did I do? Anyway, holy shit the Phillies made an incredible move to get Lee!! Where the fuck would this team be without him? I wish the Met organization was half as competent as the Phillies..

    I also must say
Victorino(sp? ) has alot of heart

hard to believe, regardless of what the team releases to the press,

that there wasnt a broken bone in that hand when he squared up to bunt and got hit.

    Fucking Ouch .
You could hear it over and over on the replays,
that cracked so loud its hard to belive he didnt break at least 1 bone.

He wanted to keep playing too ,...

Yeah, interestingly enough, having him hold his hand onto the bat, as opposed to the ball striking him while not holding it, actually helped because the bat absorbed a lot of the force.

Raul was all over Backspacer for his intro's. Force of Nature, of course, the first time up.

It was a story on Yahoo Sports, but last night WIP had some of the Phillies beat writers on and they said they didn't see it. I would tend to believe someone who has covered the team all season on something like that.
