Oh yeah, We went to Columbia SC in 2008 after Bonaroo and got awesome 10c seats. As the lights went out and the band took the stage and opened with Can't keep I busted out crying. One we soooo close and two I love Can't Keep.
When they did the radio broadcast of their Atlanta show in April of 1994, they played Betterman, and it was the first time I'd heard the song. I was 15, and Pearl Jam was my main, extreme passion (some things never change!) I can remember sitting in front of my radio, seriously crying with tears rolling down my face. Before Pearl Jam, I had no idea music could be so moving.
Other times I can remember:
The first time I saw them (1994, Denver)
Black @ Red Rocks in 1995
Crown of Thorns in Vegas 2000
What can I say, I'm a crier.
When the stars exploded billions of years ago, they formed everything that is this world. Everything we know is stardust...
My father passed away last fall about the time Backspacer was released. I listened to The End and Just Breathe a lot during that time and cried like a baby. So...when Just Breathe and The End was played in Bristow I again cried and cried. I have NEVER cried at a PJ show before but that got to me. Anyway...it was a good release.
I used to cry when I heard Come Back, but that one has passed for the time
Lost a very close friend 3 years ago at the young age of 19. The lyrics in Come Back get me everytime.
"The real possibility i may meet you in my dreams"
simply beautiful

"When he was six he believed that the moon overhead followed him
By nine he had deciphered the illusion, trading magic for fact
No trade-backs...
So this is what it's like to be an adult
If he only knew now what he knew then..."
Every single time, even when I think "I don't think I'll cry this time", I do! I just love it, the magic of childhood!
They made me cry a good few times...like at my first gig I was so incredibly moved when they walked on and then they opened with Long Road and it was just amazing...and the other day when I heard I'm Still Here for the first time...and then at the recent Belfast gig when Eddie was telling us his own love story about how he had first met Jill ten years ago on this very day and he said he missed her like mad...you could hear the emotion in his voice...everyone went ''awwww'' and then they played Wasted Reprise.
Yes - they beat me up, gave me a wedgie and then took my lunch money.
I'm going hungry....

all the time. all the songs, whatever is going on in life suddenly a verse or line of a song will jump out & make sense, wrench heart strings. bang.
I listen to PJ a lot when painting ( its my job ) it becomes a roller coaster, very intense manic & tearful process, exhausting, cathartic.
a recent joke is that theres a PJ line for everything, which I duly sing ( badly ) and annoy everyone. My partner finds all his answers in Springsteen. During last weeks drama my advice to the youngling was " what would Eddie do ? " ... I digress
crying, before after & during 1st gig o2 last year, weeks afterwards every time I heard a song.
this year Belfast, as soon as the intro music came on and among the waves- which is my song of the last couple of months. It was 'drop the leash' set my man off- his youth flooding back.
I lost someone in the summer of 2006, I went to a couple of shows on the Euro tour that year and was lucky enough to be at Verona.
It was pouring rain and freezing cold but the atmosphere was incredible.
The rain started easing off through the show and they played Come Back and I just stood looking at the sky watching the clouds fly over and seeing the stars emerge.
I couldn't believe a perfect moment like that would happen and I just burst into tears.
I always associate that song with the show and the person I lost, it always brings me to tears now. No other song can do that
well yes they have mde me cry many many times....from black, oceans, just breathe, the end, rise, nothing as it seems, soon forget, immortality and god just danb near al of them some way or another....at least on the inside.....seeing them live is like a spiritual experience that makes me cry at least twice during te show. i love pj.......................i hope they love me.........keep on rockin,./;'][
