    What the heck?
I order a steak and get blown?
Dude, D, you didn't tell me this before.
How do you keep this a secret?!?
Sorry, with the fucked up way the mobile version looks I didn't note it said my mind would be blown....I thought it said I would be blown.

There is Angelo's and then there is everywhere else left in the dust. There's really no competition. Go to Angelo's and get the cheesesteak with Cooper Sharp.

Johns Roast Pork is the best cheesesteak I have ever eaten.  Every time I fly into Philly I always stop off at Johns.  I can't wait to fly in this summer.  To bad I am not headed back in to Philly for PJ.

// Chicago Italian Beef > Philly Cheesesteaks

Had multiples of both. And Philly wins with the roast pork, broccoli rabe and long hots sandwich. The Italian beef is a good sandwich though and everyone should have it whan in Chi town. It is better than those godforsaken hot dogs with tomatoes.   =)
wtf is a roast pork, broccoli rabe and long hots sandwich?  that monstrosity does not sound anything like a Philly Cheesesteak.  for starters, none of the ingredients mentioned are cheese or steak

Haha, funny. It is even better than a cheesesteak. Long hots, if you know you know. While I love a sloppy beef with spicy giardiniera, a proper philly roast pork sandwich is probably the best sandwich in the US.

I'll just get a hoagie at Primo's in Media ( the hard roll !) or a chicken cheese steak at Ishkabibble.
Haven’t been to South Street in 20 years, never had a cheesesteak at Ishkabibbles, but their fries were the best.

I would have a steak from Pat’s or Geno’s with the “slab” meat and a Jims steak that is chopped and decide for yourself which you like better.
    My preference is Jim’s.

So, my sister, brother and I want to get a good cheesesteak before the show - what's better Pats or Genos?

Neither of those.  They are probably the two worst.  Jim's Steaks, Dalessandro's, Chubby's, John's Roast Pork, Ishkabibbles are all much. much, MUCH better.

I have never really had a bad cheesesteak in Philly, even at Pats and Genos. I think I had a bad one once at a bar when the steak was too thick and dry and the bread was terrible.

Angelo's and John's Roast Pork are a cut above.

Beyond that, they're all roughly the same. Especially if you've been drinking.

Even a Primos is great.  I think there is one near the complex.

Dinic's roast pork with broccoli rabe is a must try.

I've had Pat's and Geno's, both great to me. My sister lives outside of Philly, so I've had little local places by them too that are all great as well. May go for Tony Luke's and Angelo's this time.
