Been in the fanclub since 93, 45 shows and counting, and the only time i have ever had trouble getting tix was to the vic and the vedder solo shows...no suprise that the ticket sale went smoothly...
I know,id be there like a shot if i didnt live so far away.
Me too!!Travelled to Europe "Berne" In 2006 then to Wembley last year --just cannot afford anymore at the moment --and I am soooooo sad I hope its not too long before they come to Japan again!!!!I am waiting full of hope--even then when they come here to get to the nearest venue I have a 2 hour train journey then a 2 hour plane ride. But ALL WELL WORTH it!!!!!
im pretty sure it was philly
cleveland
grand rapids.....
from what i remember....
the fan club is only allowed 10% of the venue.....18,000 seats=1,800 fan club seats......
im pretty sure this is the arrangement they have with ticketmaster....at least it was in 06....
See, i bought Grand Rapids several hours after they went onsale. (I went to a library on my lunch break because I didt have internet access at work). When I got home from work, tickets were still available.
Im not sure about Philly, cause I didnt try for those.
But I was contemplating Cleveland, and those were definitely available when I got home from work, which was about 6-8 hours after they went onsale.
I ended up not getting Cleveland, and opted for Cincy and Pittsburgh instead.
I don't remember many shows ever selling out, except for the special ones. Even the Gorge Tickets were on sale for a quite awhile.
Obviously people with bad memories, or newbies that weren't around on the last tour are the ones that are worried. I like that I can sit back and watch this all from the sidelines

Can't speak for US shows but TC tix for the Euro 2006 tour sold out very quickly from what I remember.

Whatchoo talkin' bout, Willis?
How much more notice do you freakin want? Play the south, play the south, play the south, play the south, play the south x a billion posts. it was bound to happen, and now, well, they're playing.
How can you say there should have been more notice. How much more notice do you want. Anyone who was remotely interested in attending any shows to be announced in the south should have been prepared for this. Especially once Bonnaroo was announced.
Its really disappointing that fans refuse to buy tickets because of a small increase. Pearl Jam has worked tirelessly for their fans and deserves to be compensated
Well this really has nothing to do with the fact that the increase might affect if we can afford it or not. Not saying I'm not trying for shows, cause I totally am, but the number of shows decrease when you add the ticket price with airfare and hotel.
The only shows I've been shut out on since joining the Ten Club in '03 were the two Borgata shows.
However I've been very diligent when they are put on-sale knowing the shows I go to are in high demand.
That guy who tried to say he got Borgata tix no problem didn't get them "no problem". He was one of the FEW lucky ones. Using Borgata as an example to shame the Northeast? BAHAHA
From the other posts here these last few days it seems that several members have let their membership lapse and there are less active ten club members than there were during the last US tour, no?
Exactly. That's what happens when they ignore entire segments of the country for years. What's the point in continuing to renew if they're only going to play the Northeast coast and you can't make it to shows in that part of the country?
Comments
Other than MSG.....I dont know of anyone getting shut out becasue they sold out too quick.
Nuclear fission
im pretty sure QuarterToTen got shut out of 3 shows...
there is not an unlimited amount of fan club tickets.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Its not unlimited.
But there were times when the 10c would take all orders and if they didnt have 10c seats, they would get regular seats and give them to 10 c members.
this happened a few times in 98 and 2000 I believe.
Which shows did quartertoten get shut out of?
Were they NY or Boston?

I ended up not getting Cleveland, and opted for Cincy and Pittsburgh instead.
And I had zero probs with Chicago tix.
Nuclear fission
WTF? I was able to get GR with no probs. Although, its a smaller venue than the other arenas on that tour.
How did you get shut out?
I got them well after they went onsale, and I had no probs logging on.
Nuclear fission
i was never able to complete the purchase.
thought i was close numerous times, but it just never went through.
i was pretty much like WTF?
Is it possible this was an isolated incident and not a site-wide problem?
Again, when I got home from work, they were still available.
Sux man.
Nuclear fission
people were shut out.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
How was I able to get them so much later then?
And so easily?
the only times I have had trouble getting tickets were for the Vic and for EV solo.

but shows sold out....and people got shut out....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
i wish i knew.
maybe someone's credit card failed and you had perfect timing.
Thats a pretty good t-shirt to wear at the shows.
"Shows sold out....people got shut out."
Kinda reminds me of, "Bush Lied, people died."
Sucks for Qto10.
Your not senile. Youve always been that way.

to me, thats a different story.
they tour there every five years, so its no wonder those would sell out quickly.
Nuclear fission
You better, I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow. This is like the warm-up show in itself.
All talk and no travel, eh?
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...
im just taking a wild guess......
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
