Anyone a fan. Have all the cd's, solo and band albums. havent listened to them really though. All I know is Brick is a perfect song. What should I check out? As I have all the albums, what's the best one? I hear Reinhold Meisser is the No Code of the Ben Folds catalogue.

Is modern popular music on the decline?
The young man in this video argues that it is, and very much so. I really appreciated viewing this video and would say suggest that it's worth waiting to watch until you have time for the full 20 minutes. You can't really get the full argument here with just a few sound bites. I'd really be interested in hearing from…

Most of the torrent sites I used to use are shut down or they have silly upload/download criteria to meet. What's everyone using nowadays?

Anyone go to the GNR Apollo show??
wow man. Listening to it on Sirius. They took a break from NFL stadiums to play The Apollo. That wall of sound may have destroyed that old theater. They tore it up. Nice tribute to Cornell too. Best music story of this decade is their reunion.

Flaming Lips
Caught the Flaming Lips at Wakarusa last night. I've never seen anything like it. What a SHOW! The show started well after dark, great atomosphere with a bit of lightning to the east. Coyne started the show with his Space Ball walk, and he had a psychedellic mic camera, costumed dancers on each side of the stage, constant…

Paul McCartney with Bruce Springsteen at tonight's MSG show
Paul McCartney put on a 40 song three hour show at MSG tonight (didn't seem to worried about curfew, as it almost hit midnight). Lots of Beatles and Wings songs. Then Bruce and Steve Van Zandt came out for one of the encores and did a long version of I saw her standing there with Paul and his band (they did a reprise and…

Chris Cornell Scream
Just wanted to mention that this is one of the most underrated albums out there. I get why a lot of people didn't dig it becau it's different but I saw Cornell 4 times and still lament about missing this tour. He went out on a limb and the music, although different was good. An underappreciated album I personally think.

Toadies/Burden Brothers
This is basically a thread for red mos and I but who else love either one of these bands? Great lead singer, strange but awesome lyrics and music that always rock! Of course both bands are similar and different but both bands are amazing!
