I saw this headline and almost spit my coffee all over my computer screen... Fox News called RHCP "A poor man's Smash Mouth." LOLZ. Funniest thing Ive seen in a while..=)

On The Five on Fox News yesterday, co-host Greg Gutfeld quipped that if he were President of the United States, he would ban Radiohead.

“I would ban Radiohead in public places, everybody knows they’re a poor man’s Air Supply, I just think it’s time to move on.”

He added, “I hate the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They’re a poor man’s Smash Mouth.”

As Alternative Nation reported a couple of weeks ago, The Greg Gutfeld Show co-host Kat Timpf called Radiohead fans ‘strange, malnourished, and sad’ on Fox News’ The Greg Gutfeld Show. This led to Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood adding that as a description to his Twitter profile. Host Greg Gutfeld brought the topic back up on last week’s.

Gutfeld said, “I have an idea for a new costume, that everybody should wear, where you look depressed, malnourished, and sad. You’d be going as a Radiohead fan Kat.”

Timpf responded, “I did say on the show a couple of weeks ago that I was very into men that are strange, malnourished, and sad, and that I ended up dating a lot of Radiohead fans because they all fit into that group. Now they’re all very very mad at me. They’re mad at me! I wasn’t saying it was bad, I was saying it was sexy.

Also, in what universe am I not strange, malnourished, and sad? I’m like Captain Strange Malnourished and Sad. It’s really depressing because now they’re not going to be interested in me anymore, I’m going to have to start dating guys I can’t share jeans with. I wish I would have joked about something less serious, religion and war would would have been much less divise than this has been.”

Gutfeld then quipped, “Radiohead are a fine band, but they stole everything from Coldplay.”

Kat Timpf added, “Another bunch of sad people.

Gutfeld then said, “Radiohead is the poor man’s Coldplay.”

Rob O’Neill, who killed Osama bin Laden, was a guest on the episode, and he then added, “You guys are going to make me leave here and listen to a bunch of Nickelback.”

Gutfeld pleaded, “No, no one ever has to do that.”

Coldplay responded on social media, “Finally somebody had the balls to say it!”

"It's best to live in grace before you're forced to." EV- 10/09/2014
