Went to the Detroit show last night. Both bands were incredible. I have a new-found respect for Local H.
Venue was cool, sound was great, crowd was enthusiastic. Both bands did deep cuts and fan favorites and each did a Petty cover/tribute.
After the show, Toadies and Local H stuck around and signed autographs. I got to talk with VTL and Doni for a while. Super nice guys and funny as hell.
Was able to pick up some vinyl from the merch booth and got the whole band's autographs.
Last night was my third time seeing Toadies. I'll plan on seeing them every chance I can in the future. If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -
Living in Dallas I kinda take The Toadies for granted because they play around me all the time, but yeah they always put on a great show. I caught this tour in Tyler and they sounded as good as ever.0

went to last night's show in philly. was gonna buy a ticket at the door but someone sold me their ticker for $10 outside the venue. I only knew a few songs from each band. Local H went on at 8:30 and played for an hour. Toadies came on at 10:00 and their set ended at like 11:15.dudeman said:Went to the Detroit show last night. Both bands were incredible. Both bands covered petty as well. Local H opened the set with I Need to Know and Toadies closed their set with Breakdown I'm guessing that's what both bands have been covering? Toadies also covered I Put a Spell on You (Scott joined them for that song).
Liked both acts but enjoyed Local H more actually. Fun show!
