Rather than the big names, my favorite new yanks to watch have been swisher and cervelli.
Swisher's attitude and energy mainly (more than performance) & same with Cervelli though he has exceeded my expectations as a player too.

    Tex defense is incredible too.

If you're ever in Midtown, you should go to Foley's on 33rd street and order his "Swish and Chips". I think one dollar from every order goes to his charity.

I was reading pete abrahm's blog today and they made a mention of how toronto is 1-5 against boston and the yankees.

Seems their hold on first place is destined to fall. That one win was when Halladay was on the mound.

9 in a row is awesome.

You got to give them credit for holding in this long using three rookies and a reliever in their rotation.

That's why Aceves got the wrestling belt last night. The guy's only warmups were on the mound after Chamberlain was hurt.

White Sox are awesome though. They had a great day yesterday. 20 runs and Peavy says..."Ohh F@ck NO!"

Damn. That play at the plate changed the whole game I believe. The Yanks also didn't many pitches. No walks. Let's not let the 9 game winning streak go to waste. Start another one tomorrow.

should have been a sweep, but one of the more exciting 10-game homestands in May I've seen in a while.

10-0 right now in Texas and Arod is 4 for 4, looks like the yankees will go back to winning. Man they really have been playing good lately, lets hope they keep it up.

Great game by Phil Hughes today. He has 14. 1 shutout innings against Texas in Arlington. That's impressive considering that's a hitter's park. And the way Texas has been hitting this year. Would've liked to see him go in the 9th. But I understand why Joe took him out.

The stadium is quickly becoming a joke around the league..Teixeira's check swing broken bat homer is especially alarming..wow..
