In my country, we have a pretty good system for handling mass shootings. We have 1-2 shootings per week. So immediately afterwards, we debate on the political leanings of the shooter. Then our government investigates and interviews the shooter (if alive) and his family and friends. Then our media and keyboard warriors construct a profile of the shooter so that we have facts such as voting record, social media postings, etc. that we can spin to argue the shooter is from the political party we dislike. By the time all that ends, it's on to the next shooting and we repeat the cycle.1993: 11/22 Little Rock

But its probably just gonna be Dems who own guns.

how can dems own all the guns AND be doing all the thinking and praying too? there is not enough bandwidth to do it all.Tim Simmons said:But its probably just gonna be Dems who own guns."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

lol i think we might be able to think about guns as well as think about the victims. there is enough room in my brain for both. as of now, anyway.mrussel1 said:

Purely out of interest, how many of those who post in this thread own a gun?
(matter of intrigue, given I am from the UK and owning a gun is about as common as owning an elephant)0 -

As far as how common it is here, I would say a fair amount of conservatives do, same with independents. Less common with liberals. More of my conservative friends and family own guns than do not.
But I know almost no one who carries on a regular basis. Seeing people who carry out in the open is pretty rare. I obviously have no idea how many conceal carry, but like I said, I know almost no one who conceal carries on a regular basis.0 -
A lot of "conservatives" buy guns because their media tells them to. Since Obama was president they have been marketed to that Obama/Dems are going to take your guns so you better stock up...there is going to be some sort of apocalypse so you better buy a years worth of shelter food in case you have to go underground because of the dems, etc.
I was surprised to see some of that doomsday shit at Costco the last time I went but I live in Red Meat, IN, so that's why.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)
