additionally, trump brags about everything. i won by a landslide, by the greatest margin ever. no he didn't. i now have the tallest building in manhattan. that was true, but no sane person would have said that on 9/11. we would hear about it all the time that he is here due to divine providence because god miraculously spared his life. we don't hear anything like this from him.

what is the best way to cover something up?

avoid releasing evidence, and stop talking about it completely and it will go away. this is textbook how to handle a big lie.
So why go through this elaborate setup just to let it fade away and not talk about it? The risk/reward ratio doesn't match up if the plan is to just let it fade away.
He/they don't care about risk reward or follow up. As long as their ignorant brainwashed supporters believe the bs and continue to support and donate they don't care.
So it doesn't matter? If there was actual evidence of a staged assassination, Biden would have just ignored it too?
If there was any proof whatsoever of a stage, it would have been the end of Trump, and probably the Republican Party. So the risk/reward wouldn't have been worth it. Consider all the people who would have had to go along with it, the risk would have been pretty high. And Biden never would have let it go (rightfully so) if any evidence supporting these theories surfaced. It's not just about brainwashing the right.
I'm actually pretty shocked there are multiple people here who still believe this conspiracy theory.
dude you give trump the benefit of the doubt at every turn. everything he does is for show. everything he does is for attention. everything he does is out of spite or grievance, or for his personal gain. he has lied to you 90,000 times. why would anybody take him at his word for anything at this point?

yet here we are. the biggest showman ever to hold the presidency, yet a staged assassination attempt is beyond the realm of possibility? the security response letting him stand up like that and yell fight fight fight for the crowd and most importantly the camera? do you really think the most hated man in america would be surrounded by that incompetent of a security team? the only way that would happen is if they knew they would not get paid. but nobody lets an assassination target stand up like that out in the open when they do not know if the shooter is still at large or not.

i don't buy it, and i am not going to buy it.

I don't disagree with that first part. I think making that coin for a cash grab was pathetic and embarrassing. And the trump whiskey, etc. I don't think there's been another president that exploits his position for a cheap cash gain as much. And it's embarrassing to be honest.

That still doesn't mean it was staged. And I guess neither of us will be convinced otherwise so we'll move on.

We've seen how these losers can barely run a government. Trump himself cant even say acetaminophen because it has more than 2 syllables. These dopes aren't pulling off an elaborate fake assassination.

    occum's razor and all that.

I mean lots of law enforcement are bad at their jobs everyday all over the country. Secret Service isn't above that. They aren't some elite force.

The group at the PA performance was unbelievably bad. Really embarrassing for our country.

I agree that some of the things that happened (i.e. fight/fight/fight, allowing him to stand there, etc.) sure seem suspect. In rewatching it I still can't believe that they didn't immediately take trump to the ground. I'm sure the communication was that the shooter was down but they had no idea if there was possibly another shooter taking aim.

Then it was just a few weeks later that they arrested the guy at the golf course. Another close one.

There is no doubt that trump org is a master at making money off of tragedy. That's their thing.

Kirk's body was barely cold before they were asking for money. Even his millionaire wife had a gofundme.

We haven’t seen it before because running a multi-national business while president violates the Constitution.
