I don't care what his political ideology was, maybe having a psychotic admin waging war on American Cities, indiscriminately bombing boats, making insane claims about Healthcare and doing nothing to address the increased cost of living is pushing people over the edge. I see it every day working at a college. People can't handle life and the world right now. I can't imagine what LE and Healthcare are seeing for increased case loads on people losing the battle mentally.

More death. It cannot be defended. It is an embarrassment to the world. I wonder if Charlie's family feels different about guns in America. A 9 year old shot himself. A marina was shot up. It is not a Trump issue. It is an American issue. I hold Charlton Heston and the NRA more accountable than Trump. I do not blame politicians for taking money from certain factions. It is a broken process. Has been for decades.

was reported that he was an iraq war vet with a son with severe health issues....

given it was a mormon church I wonder if or how often he was visited and what questions he had for those visitors about gods plan etc.... and what those answers were.

yeah they have mentioned "targeted violence" so I assume he had it out for someone in there

I haven't read that article since it's behind a paywall but isn't the media just reporting what trump was saying?

I haven't heard anything about a MAGA connection with the MI shooter on the news that I watch. I've seen it all over social media though.

Of course if trump and Co are going to immediately blame "leftists" and "trans" people after other recent shooting it would certainly be news if they are not blaming anyone on shootings involving their cult members.

with all these shooters allegedly writing messages on their shell casings, why would they not just write the most random and ridiculous things on them just so they could plead insanity later?

4 people killed, 20 more injured in shooting at South Carolina bar, sheriff says

Beaufort, South CarolinaAP — 

A mass shooting at a crowded bar on an idyllic South Carolina island has left four people dead and at least 20 injured, officials said.

The shooting occurred early Sunday at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island, officials said.

A large crowd was at the scene when sheriff’s deputies arrived and found several people suffering from gunshot wounds.

“Multiple victims and witnesses ran to the nearby businesses and properties seeking shelter from the gun shots,” the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on X.

“This is a tragic and difficult incident for everyone. We ask for your patience as we continue to investigate this incident. Our thoughts are with all of the victims and their loved ones,” the statement said.

Four people were found dead at the scene, and at least 20 other people were injured.

Among the injured, four were in critical condition at area hospitals. The victims’ identities were not released.

At least three shootings across Mississippi this weekend, all apparently connected to high school football games, left several people dead, includingan expectant mother, and others injured.

Four people were killed and at least 12 others were injured in a shooting in the northwestern Mississippi city of Leland late Friday or early Saturday, the city’s mayor said.

Mayor John Lee told CNN that 16 people were shot and four were killed near downtown Leland around midnight. Lee did not clarify whether he counted the four dead among the 16.

In my country, we have a pretty good system for handling mass shootings. We have 1-2 shootings per week. So immediately afterwards, we debate on the political leanings of the shooter. Then our government investigates and interviews the shooter (if alive) and his family and friends. Then our media and keyboard warriors construct a profile of the shooter so that we have facts such as voting record, social media postings, etc. that we can spin to argue the shooter is from the political party we dislike. By the time all that ends, it's on to the next shooting and we repeat the cycle.
