GA folks can do their thing. You can get close without the nonsense of lining up. What sucks is that TM is eliminating the best reserved seats for 10C members and pushing us further back to sell premium seats. The days of a full 10C sections in the 100s next to the stage seem to be over. Member since 98.
Do they have a choice though? Is that the deal they have to cut to get the tickets they do secure? With their touring frequency, what kind of leverage do they have at this point? I think they still do very well by us as members and try to cut them a fair amount of slack in the present environment for live music.

I think they absolutely do have a choice. But how do you say no to a bunch of extra cash for each show? To your point, if they only go out for a small number of shows, they want to cash in. I cannot blame them for that. I think that $200 price point is in the middle of affordable and outrageous prices. I have more of an issue with them giving up the best seats than I do raising prices or selling premiums.

They have the ability to change it any time they want just like they did for Grand Rapids.

“A note from Ten Club.  The GA line is first-come, first-served. In the past, fans have used their own fan created numbering system to save a place in line. The numbering system will not be  tolerated.  We have seen fans abuse this in the past, therefore the numbering system will not be tolerated.  Anyone participating in this fan created queueing system will be sent to the back of the line. It is the Ten Club’s position that those that put in the time to wait in the GA line all day should be the first in the door.”

“that put in the time to wait in the GA line all day”

So wait “all day” would seem to mean not leaving the line at all.  And certainly not to buy merch or like someone posted in earlier in this thread that they left the line to go back to their hotel for 90 minutes and took a phone call for work.  🙄

That is honestly how I feel commenting in this thread because most people clearly have an agenda that I could never introduce any competitive thought into. But the quote was literally directed to the front row haha. I’m not saying there aren’t thousands of people in the building who go to many shows, but we’re at 42 pages of “the band is clearly sick of seeing the same people up front” and idk how it can be any more clear that that’s not the case based on what he said two weeks ago (and Ohana last year for that matter).
You realize it's their job to flatter and pander to  the crowd during shows right?

In my observation of doing GA at 10 shows this tour there was no numbering system used at any of them aside from what the venue passed out for Hollywood 1

Yeah who's to say where the slider lands for their own bottom line. That will remain a mystery but is a fair point. I do think it's notable, though, that whatever they're negotiating nets them the entire GA section. That's pretty good!

I believe it's been confirmed that there is at least one. Apparently he wasn't really hiding it (getting a broker license, reselling, etc) from reports on this thread.
