    Ahhh yes, but you can go to Amazon to see those products from those small companies/find out who they are, then purchase from them directly outside of Amazon. Like pre-Amazon times!

    They won't even notice.  So the revenue may be less than typical for a Friday (even this is doubtful), but the purchases will just shift to a later day.  Small businesses and shops may see a bump for a day similar to the small business Saturday event.  Not sure what this is showing anyone, but kudos to all who are participating.

    I don't get it. I do not see this as having a huge impact. February is a slow month for retailers. Trying to blackout the President's day sales probably would have had made more sense.  :s

    Yeah, to be fair, I heard nothing bout this until PJ sent the email yesterday. I feel like they should have had built some momentum. But I also don’t follow a lot of resistance stuff.
