    Nice. I think there is a Donruss rookie as well. Not sure about any other Mattingly rookies.

    Oh, not even sure what year he was a rookie but the ‘83 is the official rookie? Is the ‘84 considered a rookie? I must have been mistaken.

    Upon further inspection one is Topps Traded the other Topps Tiffany. Both considered rookies if I have that right.

    i think his rookie year was '83. but '84 is considered his rookie card. the '83 topps traded cards came out after the regular set and before the '84 set came out

    1984 is Strawberrys rookie.  The 83 traded is considered an XRC, or Extended Rookie.

    The boxes I’ve been sorting haven’t yielded much but I’ve come across about 20 Mattingly’s. I thought this one was pretty cool/unique. I don’t remember seeing one before.

    I couldn't help myself. 
    I finally got the price I was looking for, and purchased a 1959 Willie Mays.
    Should arrive by Wednesday.
    I'm done purchasing for a while. Maybe start up again in a month or so. 
    Take me piece by piece.....
    Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

    Giveaway, worth nothing but still cool.  The dealers and promoters used to make cards to give away at shows.  That's a good example of one.

    My Jarred Kelenic cards should see a rise.

    I sold a bunch of Jordan Walkers this weekend and my last few Volpes.

    Bought a few Trout cards to add to the collection.

    Will be in touch if I find anything decent. I know that I want to keep a good portion of my collection that was passed down to me & there are some cards I love that I'll want to pass down as well. It'll be a trip down memory lane for sure!

    Currently at work, so can't post any pics, but I have a Bryce Harper minor league card (Syracuse) and I also have a Gretzky rookie Topps card. I need to get the Gretzky graded, but I'm petrified to send it through the mail.
